I watched that scene many times trying to figure out what was playing on the TV during that ping pong scene. But the fact is that is was far too short to be identified, so the mystery remains.

i need 1 too, this is what Ive got so far, Bubba is a nice black man. his bottom lip sticks out allot. when Lt Dan asked y, he said he was born with big gums. his family owns a shrimp boat. they have for generations. he proceeds to tell Forrest about all the things there is to do with shrimp while doing military training requirements. bubba was obviously homesick because his last words in Forrest's arms were "i wanna go home"

Without a doubt, Forrest Gump is a hero. Not just a war hero, but an everyday, common man hero. One we can all look up to as an example. He wasn't particularly bright, he seldom waxed poetic, yet so much can be learned from his child-like innocence and his loyalty to friends and his love and devotion to family. We all need to be a little 'gump-like' in our daily lives, emulating his quiet strength and serenity.

it is about a man (Tom Hanks), who is a bit slow at learning. he is sitting on a park bench, waiting for a bus, to go to his one true loves house. while he is waiting he tells his entire life story to anyone who sits on the park bench next to him; how he was teased when he was younger, his best friend (jenny, the woman he is waiting to catch the bus for), how he went to war, how he ran for two years, how his mum died. When he is finally finished, the lady says that jenny's house is only a few blocks away, so he runs to her house. He finds out that she has a son who is his kid too. then jenny dies, and tom hanks has to look after his son by himself.
