Sutton and Emma have a mother named Becky apparently she's kind of odd in book one it mentions her

It's about Emma Becker who is a foster kid, she finds her twin sister Sutton Mercer who lives "the sweet life" in Phoenix. They find each other because Sutton is searching for her birth mother an finds Emma.

When Emma is framed by her foster brother she runs to Phoenix to her twin and they switch places because Sutton has a led on their birth mother, so Emma will be in Phoenix pretending to be Sutton.

That's the main thing in the series, so far 9 episodes and next is Fall finally.

To clarify with DISH Network the channel that ABC will be found on, would be dependent upon where you are located (ex- your state & zip code,) this is because ABC is considered one of your local affiliates & therefore will be found on one of your local channel numbers. Indeed channel 180 is ABC Family- but unless your looking for ABC family then ABC will be found on one of your local channels. They are two different channels so depends which one you are looking for.

Because of the many cases of babies "switched at birth" that have come to light there is reason to believe that most of these cases are never found. Some of the circumstances that have brought out these cases resolve around the coincidence of many uncontrolled factors. Switched babies have met and discussed their backrounds only to discover many similarities such as a common hospital of birth, common feelings of feeling misplaced or an outsider in their families, and bodily features that they couldn't account for. We can surmise that the incidence would be highest where the opportunity for switching would be highest, such as in hospital births where babies are separated from their mother for short periods for testing, treatment, or other things. Societies that support home births would have a low incidence because the opportunity for switching is negligible. The large number of births in hospitals gives a likelihood of many switched births over millions (?billions) of individual births. In homogenious population areas the likelihood is greatest and most of these switches are likely never recognized or even suspected. Since earth's population of humans is over 6 billion, and an incidence of one in 60,000 seems within reason, that means there could reasonably be 600,000 switched at birth people among the earth's population at this time. Kyle XY was canceled January 31st 2009 after the show had finished shooting the season. At the very first there was some talk about a DVD movie but the ratings kept declining and the talk died down. So far the only closure ABC Family is offering faithful viewers is a interview from Julie Plec (co-writer and executive producer). Unfortunately this interview doesn't mean much because decisions can change during the course of a series, so many fans regard this as speculation until it is put onto film.

The reason for the cancellation, while not official, is due to declining ratings (1.3 million down 33% from season 2) and the unprecedented success of Secret Life. Of course many fans have very valid arguments when they point out that ABC Family looked like they wanted the series to fail. Apart from very little preseason promotion (and during the season), putting the show on the same time as Heroes and 24, and ten month hiatus, Kyle XY had very decent numbers. It is very possible that ABC Family is just moving in a different direction and Kyle XY didn't attract the demographics they wanted. Unfortunately we may never know the true reason for the cancellation

This show has a very dedicated fan base and a huge international following so there is hope this campaign can work..

Ohio University in Ohio.

If you look up a map of Ohio, you will find that the fake university known as "Cyprus Rhodes" in Greek is in the exact spot of where Ohio University is, Athens, Ohio. OU is a notorious party school, and was once ranked in the top 5 party schools in the nation.

Additionally, the fictional Zeta Beta Zeta Sorority house and the Kappa Tau Fraternity house resemble the Pi Beta Phi and Phi Kappa Tau houses, respectively, at Ohio University.

Rusty's freshman dorm is named Calhoun Hall; the student center at Ohio U. is named John Calhoun Baker Center. In a third season episode, Rusty asks Jordan to go see a battle of the bands at The Union, which is a popular music venue in Athens, Ohio. Also, during the second season, Casey mentions leaving for their extra-long winter break; Ohio University has a seven-week Winter Intersession because of its quarter system of classes.

Actually none of that is right at all. The show is based off of Miami University. The school in Ohio that ACTUALLY has a Greek system. Also a notorious party school, the show came under scrutiny from the University because some of the portrayals were too close to a one-to-one, namely Zeta Beta Zeta. Many of the traditional parties in the show are real parties. Greek life at OU is socially irrelevant and mostly non existent. I think its a bit of a reach to connect "long break" with a certain school. Sorry champ, go Redhawks.

Season 2 Episode 9 the ZBZ's play the Ohio University fight song "Stand Up and Cheer" at the beginning of the episode. Other than the Greek system Miami has no connection to Greek. Sorry champ, go Bobcats!
