Frida Kahlo (July 6, 1907 - July 13, 1954) was a Mexican painter who depicted the indigenous culture of her country in a style combining Realism, Symbolism and Surrealism.

Drawing on personal experiences including her troubled marriage, her painful miscarriages, and her numerous operations, Kahlo's works are often characterized by their stark portrayals of pain. Fifty-five of her 143 paintings are self-portraits, which frequently incorporate symbolic portrayals of her physical and psychological wounds. Kahlo was deeply influenced by indigenous Mexican culture, which is apparent in her paintings' bright colors and dramatic symbolism. Christian and Jewish themes are often depicted in her work as well; she combined elements of the classic religious Mexican tradition--which were often bloody and violent--with surrealist renderings. While her paintings are not overtly Christian--she was, after all, an avowed communist--they certainly contain elements of the macabre Mexican Christian style of religious paintings.

Diego died in 1957, Frida in 1954.

Instead of singing she went on to become a famous gamer and nearly wiped out the so called "Friday rise."

This is a very vague question because Frieda Kahlo painted numerous paintings. She has painted themes that vary from personal all the way to political. Kahlo painted many self portraits which express an "intimate" side of the artist. In other paintings she would address political topics or gender roles. For example in her marriage portrait, "Frieda and Diego Rivera", she clearly expresses gender roles. Frieda both accepts and rejects the roles which she had to follow in the 1930's society. One way she accepts gender roles is by portraying herself in a "submissive" manner to her husband, showing herself as a devoted wife to him. One way she rejects gender roles is the placement of the dove in the painting, which announces that she is a professional and independent woman artist.
