A teenager may join a gang in the 60's for many different reasons. They may just want to be popular or might have some rough patches going on. It's possible they have family problems, join for a sense of security, or feel they can take their anger out on violence. Hope this helped :)

There are several different reasons: punishment, revenge, deterrent or persuasion, to serve as an example. Probably many other reasons, but I think most will fit one of these catetories.

If gang A has offended gang B (for virtually any reason: infringing on their turf, committing crimes without paying "tax", or an any small act of disrespect), gang B may well respond violently. This violent response could be lethal or non-lethal. If lethal option is taken, it could be a drive by shooting or some kind of ambush. In executing this plan, they may well kill an innocent person as an unintentional by-product... collateral damage. Then gang B may well respond by killing somebody in gang A. It often becomes basically a mountain man "Hatfield and McCoys" type feud, with no end in sight.

Another reason could be for a member being a traitor or a snitch. Somebody may want to leave the gang, and if so, they can no longer be trusted, so that straying gang member may well be killed.

Because they feel a sense of security being surrounded by big tough guys with guns. Then they become addicted to everything they do, when they realize what they're doing is wrong, its to late and they're to scared to quit because now the rest of the gang is ready to shoot them if they quit.

In answer to your Q, they are a gang and started out in CA with the main mission of defeating the pre-existing Crips (or Cribs as they were known) as the Crips started to move into their neighborhoods from St. Louis. The Crips were originally a neighborhood protection agency but soon turned to selling drugs to support themselves and every neighborhood they moved into turned into a slum. The Bloodz are the most well-known along with the counterpart the Crips. The Crips (often called the derogratory "Krabs") wear blue and have the six point star as their symbol. The Bloodz (often called the derogratory "Slobs") wear red and have the five point star as their symbol.

I think "gangs" started with like little play dates and the little kids started excluding others just because. I think it started a long time ago with little kids or even toddlers...which explains why everyone invoided in those kind of things are not really mature. Its sad but I hope I help answer your question.

Yes. I think you need to ask yourself why you would want to do this. Think about your future and if you plan to work in any job where there is a background check would you want that showing up ? Think ahead and set goals for yourself to live a better life than what a gang can offer you.

The main gangs of Birmingham are Johnson crew and Burger bar boys. You can find them around the areas of Handsworth (Burger bar boys) and Aston(Johnson crew) and surrounding areas of there main territory. But also there are gangs in nealy every council estate in birmingham.

Other gangs will want to try and kill you. If you betray your gang they will want to kill you. People who aren't in gangs won't like you. Your family will be in danger. You will end up doing things you don't or might not want to do.

Latino and Polynesian gangs are very commonly found on the west side of Salt Lake City and the surrounding area, especially in the suburban cities of Magna, West Valley, Kearns, Taylorsville, and South Salt Lake, as well as Salt Lake City proper.

Common Blood gangs are Kearns Town Bloods and Tiny Oriental Posse.

There are also many gangs affiliated with the Folks and the People, gangs out of the Chicago area. Folks gangs include Gangster Disciples, Ambrose, Black Mafia Gangsters and King Mafia Disciples. People gangs include the Latin Kings and the Vice Lords.

Unaffiliated gangs in the Salt Lake City area include VLT (Varrio Loco Town), OSB (Oquirrh Shadow Boys), Salt Lake Posse, and Oriental Posse.

There are two main motorcycle gangs in Salt Lake City, the Sundowners and the Barons.

Salt Lake City also commonly faces many problems from extremist groups, such as pro-violence Straight Edgers (SXE) and the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). There are also problems with skinheads, both white-supremicist and non-racist.

When I was growing up in Columbus, Ohio in the mid to late 90's, the gangs I knew of were: SNP (Short North Posses), Crip, Blood, Folk. This of course was the westside.

the 88s are spread out threw cincinatti and northern Kentucky this is not a gang like the crips or bloods but they are a pretty known gang for there area
