1700 is not very accurate. The Dama Gazelle population just one of three main subspecies of gazelle has about 2000 alone. So although the Dama gazelle is endangered, when you add that to the other 2 main sub species you get much more then 1700.
The are 705lb.-750lb.
most likely they are around 8000-8009 pound.that's what you call reseaerch.
This depends on the species of gazelle. The Dama gazelle, for example, is endangered due to poaching, human settlement, and climate changes. Animals are normally engendered due to trophy hunting for their fur, horns, bones ect
Thompsons gazelles' can run pretty quick at about 45 mph, few animals can catch them. Cheetahs are the main predator of the thompsons gazelle. Cheetahs eat them because they are small, slow to a cheetah, and are not very strong. The leopard is also a predator of the thompsons gazelle. Instead of a long chase the leopard waits for the gazelle to come to him. African wild dogs hunt in packs and can easily take down a thompsons gazelle. Baboons will target young or sick or slow moving adults. Hyenas are not fast enough to catch a thompsons gazelle. Jackals may look small, but they are just as fast and nimble as a thompsons gazelle, but they take some time to overpower the gazelle. Lions catch them when they can. Crocodiles very easily snatch gazelles when they are drinking or when in the water. Don't underestimate the thompsons gazelle though. They can escape a cheetah if they really need to. They are more agile and nimble then a cheetah. They are able to make a full u turn while being chased, and can keep running after a cheetah has already stopped.
Animals that are victims of predators usually have their eyes towards the side of their heads because this provides a large (360 degree) field of vision. This allows them to spot predators coming from any direction. Most herbivorous animals have eyes on the sides of their head, including the rhinoceros, parrots, deer, rabbits and horses.
On the other hand, acute stereo vision is required by most predators, whose eyes tend to be closer to the front of their heads such as eagles, lions and dogs.
by feeding at only dawn and at dusk and by staying in the shade
Of the land animals, the cheetah can reach the faster speeds. Additional Info: The Cheetah is made for speed. The face, head, and body are great designs for top speeds of 70 miles per hour. The Thomson's Gazelle is on average a fast animal, and can reach speeds of 40 miles per hour.
The way gazelles protect themselves are not with their horns, but with their legs. I'm trying to say here, is that they run away from their predators as fast as they can. They also leap to go farther distance.
A jaguar because they run 45-58mph and a gazelle runs pretty fast but not as fast as jauar it runs 40-50mph anymore questions!!
my wonderful computer can you please tell me what another name for a black giraffe is my sweet and caring computer i love yopu ---- ---- ---- ----
A 160 lb person burns about 7.63 calories/minute doing a light intensity workout with the Tony Little Gazelle, which is approximately 114.5 calories per 15 minutes.
The amount of calories burned depends greatly on the intensity of your workout, so this number could increase or decrease depending on that variable.
A pronghorn, which nearly every person in modern day life will call an antelope, is in fact a completely different and unique species than the antelope. Like I said, nearly every person these days will tell you it's an antelope but without knowing it those people are wrong. Just because the vast majority of people all agree on one this still doesn't change what it really is.
There back legs are very strong an when they push down an put pressure on them they jump very high, there leg bones are ment for them to jump cause they dont walk :)
I Think That a Gazelles Niche Is To Eat Vegetation, Reproduce And To Provide Carnivores With Something To Eat.
Wildebeest, Zebras and Gazelles are found in herds because of protection from predators such as lions. With increased numbers there is less likely a chance the predator will succeed because of all the movement, except with old or weakened animals. It also has to do with camouflage, such as with the Zebra. When in a large heard their black and white stripes intermix and it confuses the predator about where one starts and one stops.

Gazelles live under cliffs and can sleep in the tall grass, in the African savanna.
