Gene Autry born Orvon Eugene Autry September 29, 1907, died October 2, 1998. He was a singer-songwriter and guitarist, actor and businessman. Gaining fame as The Singing Cowboy in radio, movies and television he also owned the California Angels Major League Baseball Team. Among his Legacy he was inducted into the Western Performers Hall of Fame and the only celebrity to have 5 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
