There have been reports of apparitions pushing people down flights of stairs.
Opening and closing cupboards, windows, doors, drawers etc.
Making loud and bizarre noises, ones that would frighten you, amaze you.
Knocking things over, picking things up, or breaking things.

I think mainly what ghosts or spirits, or whatever you like to call them, do to scare people is make people wonder if they exist, make you nervous, make you wonder if some noise you heard outside was an animal, a person, or something else entirely

So unless you have experienced being around some otherworldly spirit or manifestation, you won't know what they do to scare people.
And you'll have to just rely on those SciFi channel shows, and ghost stories,
for your ideas about it.

- Baby playing happily and then suddenly cries 4 no apparent reason (when u moving to a new house).

- When sleeping, it feels like something is on top of you.

No. Aleins are often classified as paranormal; however, the term does not apply to them as they are natural and fit within the realm of science. They're simply other species who didn't evolve on Earth. As well, whether or not they managed to become sentient and travel here for whatever reason is irrelevant, they would still have nothing to do with ghosts or the paranormal.

I've been a Paranormal Investigator for many years now, and for my part I can tell you Ghosts do exist. They are found far less often then all the ghost stories make it appear, but I do have many cases where we have obtained sufficient proof to convince me.

There will never be sufficient proof to prove it to everyone, since most people will always be unwilling or afraid to accept it could be true. lololololololololl hope this helps ^_^

According to the people that have gone to investigate and their opinion is that they think is haunted ....they think it is haunted because of a big explosion that occurred in the year if 1944 and killed hundreds of soldiers...

There have been claims that a house in Union, Missouri is haunted. It has been investigated by a paranormal team out of St Louis named St Louis Spirt Search headed by Betsy Bernet Blanchard.

During the investigation it was revealed that there were many spirits in the home that were not human and other worldly. During documentation of the investigation that there was a voice of an older man upstairs saying "this is my house" over and over again. The proposed senario by the investagtion team was this gentleman owned the home a long time ago and had no plans on leaving. Further it was revealed there was a large negative energy felt upstairs in a young lady's room. It is therorized by the investigation team that the young lady has pyscho-kenetic abilities and has created a physical embodiment of her own negative energy there. Down in the basement the team uncovers a psysic force field, a vortex of spirital energy (almost like standing in a wind tunnel without your clothes blowing around). The team suggests that if the current owners can not come to terms with the entity upstairs or the presence of the vortex downstairs that they should consider moving out. Further it is suggested that tramatic events from the past may have caused this to come to be.

A previous owner researed the history of the home and in the county records in the local library uncovers a history of violence and misery. The research indicated that the property may have belonged to a confederate officer and slave owner. Another confederate officer, by the name of Captin Wilson was executed on the property. After the civil war, the property was the sight of many shootings and murders. The tragic activity continued through modern times, showing ample evidence of reasons for the home to be haunted.

One of the previous owners had a blessing done by a Roman Catholic Priest. However the owners claimed that the Priest was "very uneasy" in the house and "seemed eager to leave." So the blessing was brief and may not have been done right. However the owner hoped it worked. However there were still paranormal activity going on in the property. One of the previous owners prior to the current owner believed the evil was tearing the current owner apart and helps her be admited to the local hospital where she was under observation by a psychologist, Dr Emron Chisty. Dr Chisty believes he has a "unique" perspective on the spirits, as he is muslim. Dr. Chisty diagnosed the owner with depression but did not believe she suffered from any other abnormal behaviors that would cause hallucinations or hearing of voices. Dr. Chisty encourages the owner to stop investigating the spirits and move out of the home immediately. The owners finally move out, with all family life returning to normal.

One of the prior tenants to the home believes whatever is inhibitting the home is targeting everyone's worst fears. He believes the home is a predator. After the current owners moved out another family with 6 children moved in. Within 6 months of moving in, they also moved out without an explanation as to why.

To this date it is not known or not if the home is still haunted or not. However there has been no known attempts to stop the haunting of this home.

This haunting was documented on a show named "A Haunting" on the Discovery Channel. The episode was named "Fear House" in season 3 of "A Haunting." Currently Discovery still shows reruns of "A Haunting" every weekday (as of November 9th, 2009) twice a day at 1pm and 2pm Central Standard Time.

There are some haunted locations in Burlington. I live in Danville, which is very near there. Supposedly some spots in Aspen Grove Cemetery on Sunnyside is haunted in some spots. It's a HUGE cemetery so don't get lost! And it's closed at night anyway. There's also a rocky bluff that's supposed to be haunted by a woman ghost. You say her name 3 times and she appears. If she drops a rose then your supposed to die the next day. I just read about this house in Burlington that's supposed to be really haunted. I've seen it in real life a couple times, very gorgeous house. It's on 6th and Locust streets. Idk if it's really haunted, but that's what I read.

A white ghost is not a bad sign..in fact..its the complete opposite. when you see a white ghost or a white orb it means that it is transcendent and pure. so u have nothing to worry about.

However I assume you mean a poltergeist and no they cant. In the same sense that a pixie can't hurt you. There is no peer review evidence that ghosts exist in any form and as a rule something that does not exist cannot hurt you.

However since your asking this question I can safely assume you believe ghosts exist, in which case, if ghosts do in fact exist, there has yet to be a documented case of one ever injuring a human.

This means one of three things

1. Ghosts do not exist.

2. Ghosts exist but cannot harm you.

3. Ghosts exist and can harm you but never do.
