On ABC Family, during the summer of '09, they said they were showing the new season of Gilmore Girls but, they just showed season 7 over again. At this moment, there will be on Gilmore Girls season 8. I have read, though, that there may be because the season 7 finale left viewers with many unanswered question.

Gilmore girls ended with season 7 because not enough people were watching for it to continue. The last episode was kinda of wierd because when they made it they didn't know the show would be cancelled.

Luke also tells us that his account is to be 'in order', suggesting a chronological approach towards his work and also suggesting that others before him may have had a different approach such as simply recording 'all that Jesus said and did' etc. This also does us a service in clarifying what are often unneccessary claims madeof contradiction between the different gospel records when they are merely differences in style or approach to the subject.

Luke's comment that his account is to be 'from the very first' is highlighted with the extra material that he provides around the early days of both Jesus and John the Baptist.

Together with the additional material about the early days of both Jesus and John Luke includes more songs than any other book in the New Testament in his gospel account. More than 50% of Luke's gospel is unique to Luke either indicating different sources of information or a deliberate intention to add material not mentioned by others, or both. This helps to make the Gospel according to Luke unique.

Luke's approach, as indicated in Luke 1:1-3 is to be careful and methodical. This is borne out by the many details which archaeological investigation has verified which were previously thought (unneccessarily so) to be in error. By mentioning so many incidental details in his narrative, especially in Acts, he has ennabled the Biblical record to be verified on those points.

Gilmore Girls did not come out with a Season 8 because the original creator and screenwriter of Gilmore Girls quit after the 6th season due to a disagreement with the show's managers. So, a new screenwriter wrote the script for the 7th season and was unable to continue Gilmore Girls because they did not want "the magic" to leave. The creator of Gilmore Girls, Amy, was an amazing screenwriter, and she had a talent of writing Gilmore Girls that the next screenwriters were unable to produce.

Only the first 3 seasons has been released in the UK but the whole series has been released in continental Europe as a 152 episode box set so is available in Region 2. You should be able to get it from an online retailer.

The television show, The Dukes of Hazzard (1979) was filmed on the same set. In addition, The Music Man(1962) used the set originally.

'Bon Voyage'

Rory already graduated, and her and Lorelai were planning a trip to ride a bunch of rollarcoasters.

But Rory get offered a job by Hugo Gray, she will be covering Barack Obama's campaign for a magazine, unfortunately, she has to leave in three days.

They had to cancel the town's graduation party, because their's no time.

Secretly Luke oragnizes a going-away party instead, and the whole town helps out.

The next day Rory and Lorelai are surprised by the party in the square. Rory gets a chance to say goodbye to everyone and that she was proud to be raised in Stars Hollow.

The episode ends with her and Lorelai in Lukes Diner, and zooms out. The same way the very first episode ended.

Unfortunetly, even though it appears as Rory has found her true love, Logan, after dating Dean and Jess, Rory is proposed to by Logan, and tells him not yet, because she had just handed her dream job in California, while Logan is resedented is London, and once again impatient Logan says, its now or never, and Rory being the smart charming, strong wonderful girl she is, grasiously denys his proposal and they break-up.
