Well water comes from underground aquifers. The aquifer is drilled into, and pumps or buckets are used to retrieve the water. In village type settings, the well is often manual and shared with the community. In rural areas, usually only a single household has access to an electric well. Since it is groundwater in the aquifers, there are sometimes issues with hard water, pollution, and drought.

Could be iron bacteria. Could also be the adhesive. We have yellow stains on our roll flooring from the installer using the wrong adhesive.

How do you fix a waterlogged galvanized well water pressure tank?
You let it totally empty with pump OFF, then with valve to service closed, you switch pump ON till water comes to level of service pipe (usually about 1/10 full. ) Now switch pump off and fill the tank with 28 psi of air. Now it is no longer waterlogged.

Does well water tank without bladder need to have a air volume control to function?
No, many 'galvanised' tanks do not have an air volume control. As long as the tank is not drained while the pump is 'off' (ie in an electric cut-off) the tank is safe.
Using well water to fill pool?
Yes, but with help. All chemicals MUST be balanced ASAP. And a metal remover must be used to stop staining, also ASAP. Your local pool store will help.
