DANGER: DO NOT SNORT HYDROCODONE in the form of VICODIN or LORTAB or any other acetaminophen binded hydrocodone. This is because 99% of it is acetaminophen which is tylenol. It will cause permanent liver damage. Snort Hydrocodone binded with ibuprofen such as Vicoprofen or anithistamine such as Chemdal HD. Actually Oxycodone will give you a much better and faster high. Although same applies. (Combunox/Percodan/Endodan/Roxiprin over acetaminophen binded Percocet, Endocet, Tylox, Roxicet)

It depends on the patient, the strength of the medication, how long you've been taking them, and your overall dependence/tolerance level. Generally, the longer you've been taking it and the higher the dose, the stronger the withdrawals are. How long they last is different for each person, but regardless you should never stop and do it cold turkey. Aside from the extreme pain and discomfort, you risk other problems and serious injury to yourself if you're not being supervised or monitored through the process.

The easiest way is to use a system of Incremental Dose Reduction. While I've written about it many times here on WA, I posted a How To on E-How last month that has the step-by-step procedure you can follow that will help you.

If you don't want to do it that way, you can always ask your doctor for withdrawal drugs like Suboxone. The problem with those though, is that it's just another drug you'll eventually need to stop taking as well. IDR gets you to the point where you can stop taking them altogether.

Yes they are medically safe, but you should discuss the dosage with your doctor and if you are trying to wean yourself off of oxycodone, the klonopin can actually help with some of the withdrawal symptoms such as nausea and vomiting as well as inability to fall asleep; however, be careful because klonopin as well as oxycodone are highly addictive and dependency for klonopin can become far worse than that of oxycodone. I recommend not doing either unless appropriately prescribed and follow the prescribed dosage by your physician!

I know this much for sure. The first number in there is the amount of codeine in the pill, maximum amount is 10, then goes to 7.5, 5. The second number depends on the name of the pill. Vicoden ,Hydrocodone, Perkeset, Darvacet, Lortab, all contain codeine ( or isomers of codeine ) as the main drug, the only thing that changes is the secondary drug. for example, the Hydrocodone 5-500 contains 5 mg. of codeine and 500 mg. of a generic brand of Tylenol. Lortab (which is one of the brand names for the combination of the two generic medications hydrocodone, an opiod/narcotic pain reliever and acetaminophen, a non-narcotic pain reliever/fever reducer, otherwise known by most to be Tylenol) is what I believe you are asking about, and it will remain effective (i.e. at relieving pain) for anywhere from four to six hours. The narcotic portion will remain detectable in your syslem via urine drug screen for anywhere from three to five days, but generally tends to be somewhat dose dependent. What I mean is that if you take it ever single day, many times per day, it is more likely to remain detectable in your urine for the maximum amount of time (at least three if not four days or more), but if you were to take one tablet one time and test your urine after 3 days, most likely it will be undetectable, possibly in that case even after just 24-48 hours it will not be seen in the urine. If you're being given one type of benzodiazepine legitimately, they CAN test to see if you've strayed from your prescribed treatment. The longer the half life of the drug, the longer they can test for it. "Xanax" can be tested for for several days while "Kolonopin" could probably be tested for for at least a week or more.

Yes, depending on the dose. Say you have 10mg Oxycodone you can have 325mg-500mg Acetominophen in each dose. The 5mg Oxy's usually have 500mg of Acetominophen. Other names for Oxy's are, Percocet, Percodan, Endocet, and Paracetmol. Roxycodone is the only one with no Acetominophen but very hard to find and Oxycodone itself is highly addictive and most Dr's are no longer prescribing it due to the abuse of people Dr hopping (going to a bunch of Dr's to get the same prescriptions to sell or take themselves). To my knowledge if you try to smoke hydrocodone pills it will simply wasted the pill, because the Tylenol in it is not a substance you may smoke. It's the same for trying to shoot up the pill too. You simply cannot extract the narcotic out of the pill to be able to shoot or smoke hydrocodone pills.
