Hydrocodone/APAP is the a preparation of Vicodin containing 5mg/500mg of Hydrocodone/APAP.

codeine is a derivative of opiates. rather ur being tested specifically for codeine or opiates (most likely both??). as far as i know they just check for opiates, not specifically codeine. however within 3 days of being clean u should be fine

the question answers itself...5mg ...haha there are a number of variables.. body weight comes into account how you take it (swollow whole, break in half and swallow, crush and swallow, or crush and snort) unsure if you can "shoot" it or not, also how often you take the drug..if you are only taking it for one incedent it can feel strong, however daily users might not feel anything

As far as scientifically drawing a conclusion I don't know, but I take amlodipine for high blood pressure,5Mg daily, took a 10Mg/325Mg hydrocodone today and it didn't have any side effects, no noticeable raise or drop in blood pressure or pulse.

you shouldn't because if you have the normal kind not the actual pure hydrocodone then it already has acetaminophen in it which is the same thing as aspirin has in it so its pretty much the same so no you shouldn't because it can ruin your liver to have to much of this drug not hydrocodone but the acetaminophen will just take it without aspirin if your pain is that bad you should go to the docs and see if they can get you a higher dosage! hope you feel better soon <3

It depends on the preparation - both are DEA Schedule 2 opiates, but they typically come in drug preparations that lower them to Schedule 3. They're both about the same as far as strength goes, though.

Both are designed to help with pain. Hydro would be for short term rather intense pain. Savella for long term chronic but less intense pain. I'm not an m.d. but I am a pain patient. I don't think it'd be wise to take the two together. The pain would define which medication is best. Check with your m.d.

It will always show up on a test, but how depends on the test. It is an opiate, so it is positive for opiates. Some tests can tell the difference between different opiates (morphine versus hydrocodone).

deal with codein addiction

i been using codein for 11 years to get high. during that time i stop several times. first time i only took 30ml, but now increased to 150ml perday. what can i say to anyone who wants to stop is that u must reduce the dose day by day. from my experience i give myself a week to reduce and a week to deal with the major craving. by that time your body can be considered OK. no more back pain, sleepiness and tiredness. please dont forget to drink plenty of plain warm water to help your body to get rid of the codein toxic. you must do some stretching at night time before u sleep. focus more to the lower side of your body and also your back. this is to reduce body sore. the next step is the hardest. i call it the 'i miss u codein' the feel to get high. for me ths will take at least a month to deal with. hope that this can help you.

This is a complicated question. Both have the same amount of hydrocodone (10mg) but Vicodin has more acetaminophen (Tylenol). Norco has 325mg Tylenol while Vicodin has 500mg.

The FDA is considering making all hydrocodone/acetaminophen combinations limited to 500mg acetaminophen because it is toxic to the liver, especially when mixed with alcohol.

No. Hydrocodone and Oxycodone are two different narcotic analgesics. Oxycodone usually shows up by itself. It's usually tested for specifically. Where as Hydrocodone will usually show up as an "opiate" but not specifically Hydrocodone.
