About a week after my wedding night, I had a sharp pain in my uterus accompanied by a sensation of being lightheaded. That first time, I actually passed out and it was a relief to find out why!

I have been pregnant thrice since then (miscarried once) and each time, the symptoms - which in my case tend to last about 5 to 10 minutes - are a giveaway. The last one though, was a much longer lasting sensation (about two and a half hours) and it came with the usual symptoms as well as a cramping pain all the way down to my backside, which made walking and sitting immensely uncomfortable.

I am having cramps too starting day17 at night and continued in morning of day 18. I am curious what this is. We are trying for our second child.

It is too late to be implantation spotting, that usually happens 6 days or so after ovulation (about 3 weeks pregnant). I wouldn't worry about it if it's only "spotting". However if you begin having cramping or the spotting gets heavier I would worry then. I hope you called your doc, just to set your mind at ease.

Yes, especially if you are having short cycles. By implantation bleeding, I'm thinking you mean implantation of a fertilized egg in the lining of the uterus. In any case, any time you have unprotected sex you run the risk of becoming pregnant.

every woman is different sometimes implantation can even occur at 3 DPO..

it just depends how fast it gets there..

There are several things that can contribute to a negative pregnancy test even if you are pregnant. Some medications can give you a false negative, the timing of the test can affect the results. If you did not follow directions properly; if you let the test sit for too long the results may read negative after a while. It is important to read the results within the amount of time given on the instructions of that particular pregnancy test you bought. If you did not perform the test properly (example: you drank a lot of fluids before taking the test, which can dilute your urine). Etc.

This is a good question, i need to know how soon. ive heard you have to wait 2 weeks hope this helps! Heres what happened to me. i know weird instead of spotting 9 days before your period i did this 9 days after do you think this could be implantation bleeding?

I had a negative test 3 days before period was due, then two days of spotting exactly like you describe on a Thursday and a Friday...on Saturday I got a positive test. I spotted through my entire first trimester and had a wonderful pregnancy. That baby just turned 2!! Wishing you luck!

Depending on the length of your cycle and lmp, it is all reality is probaly just spotting do to ovulation which is natural and may or may not occur every month...especially if intercourse was protected and there were no accidents such as a broken condom.
