Below answer is not even close. Apple's best selling iPhone to date is the iPhone 4s. The sales of the iPhone 3gs were ~35,000,000 so I would think it would be higher than that. Unless they mean it is there fastest selling phone which would make more sense. It is the fastest selling cell Phone to date as far as i know.

That is not even close to being the most purchased phone though. Sales numbers are model specific so releasing a new model every year, or every couple months in the case of androids makes them very improbable to reach that status. Rim also has a very diverse model platform that also makes it hard to get the most sold marks. The best selling Blackberry to date is the original pearl.(A big reason people hate on RIM since it was a garbage phone.)

in my opinion, the most bought phone would probably be the iPhone. But they are very expensive, but definetly worth it! Although the most bought phone might be the Droid RAZR, or the Samsung Galaxy S2, or the Blackberry, etc.

But i LOVE my iPhone 4s (white). Otterbox is a very nice case, if you're looking for protection. But you can buy whatever phone you prefer that fits your lifestyleee.
