This semi-auto was in all probability made by the old High Standard Co., who went out of business in mid 1980's. There is a new High Standard Co., since 1993, who acquired the assets of the old co. and they are located in Houston Tx. This appears to be a Daisy 880 made for Sears under the JC Higgins name. It was a low end budget gun for Sears 1972-1989 It looks like an under lever pump. 100%=65, 95%=$40 90%=$30 80%-N/A These rifles have to be in really excellent shap to be worth anything. If you want it repaired I suggest looking on the web under Airgun repair to find a repair station near you and have them do it.

Disassembly of a Colt 1908 .25 Auto pistol is actually very simple. Here is the step-by-step (remove the magazine and make sure the gun is not cocked first): 1. Pull back the slide partway until the front face of the slide is almost far enough back to be flush with the front of the frame, but not quite (This may take some experimentation. The easiest way to do this is to hold the gun in your right hand as if you were going to shoot it, but instead of wrapping your fingers around the grip, put all four of them over the top of the slide and pull them back toward your thumb. This will cause the slide to come back while leaving your other hand free for the next step.). 2. Unlock the barrel with your left hand by grabbing the muzzle where those handy little flutes are and twisting it towards you. The slide has to be in just the right position for this to work, so it might take a few attempts. When you get it, the barrel will rotate toward you and then stop. When it does, release the slide; it should move forward until it and the barrel fall off of the frame. From there the rest is easy. The barrel comes out of the slide from the bottom, the striker and spring come out the back of the slide, and the recoil spring and guide rod pull right out of the frame. This is all the further you need to disassemble the gun to be able to thoroughly clean it. 3. To reassemble the gun, put the striker and spring back in the slide and put the guide rod and recoil spring back where they came from. When you put the barrel into the slide, be sure to line up the locking lugs on the bottom with the notches in the slide and then rotate it until it is locked in place. If you don't, the slide will not go back on the gun. 4. Slide the slide back onto the frame, being careful to keep the barrel locked into the slide and to line up the recoil spring with the hole underneath the barrel. Pull the slide back to the position you had it in when the barrel unlocked, and twist it away from you until it stops. Now, when you release the slide, it should move to its normal position and stop. You're done!

your gun was made in 1946 by H&R for Sears High standard it is a H&R 120

NO!!! A 12 gauge shotgun takes only 12 gauge shells. A 20 gauge shell would fall into the barrel and get stuck about half way to the muzzle. You would be in for a nasty surprise when you put a 12 gauge shell behind it and pulled the trigger!!!

your gun was made by sears/high standard. this model pattent was held by Sears and Roebuck .but it soon was marketed by high standard as the sentenal revolver .These are truly nice revolvers and are worth about 200bucks

Several manufacturers sold .22 semi-auto rifles to Sears and you did not specify which one you are interested in.

Sears' JC Higgins Model 25 is the High Standard model A1041 .22 auto

Daisy started making guns in the 1880. Crosman started in 1923. Both of them made guns for Sears, under the JC Higgins name. Now if you can repost this question with more information like are you talking about a Gun or Rifle. The model number (I assume it's 1930) and the condition. I may be able to give you more information

There is no fixed answer because it depends on how much work the gunsmith will have to put into the job and how much he charges. The gun will have to be disassembled and prepared for blueing. You should contact a gunsmith in your area and have the job estimated. Hint: for a JC Higgins gun, the cost is probably not justified for the value of the gun.

these are a little harder to find these were an old Remington pattent bought by Sears & Roebuck . Sears had High standard manufacture them as Sears owned High standard it was one of the first rifles made by High Standard .These rifles are known for their high quality and reliable prefomance in very good shape it should be worth at least 150 bucks
