According to the IMDb movie review, the location of Frank's house (lighthouse) on the French coast is Cassis, Bouches-du-Rhône, France(Frank's home) (French Highway Scenes) but the actual lighthouse located there does not resemble a house but more like a tower, so i suspect the house is a movie fabrication.
