Pachelbel died long before photography was invented, but portraits (paintings) of him can be found through a Google search.
It's a popular work, but it's hardly a masterpiece on the same level as something like Beethoven's 9th Symphony.

He will show you.
He wrote many music pieces including the canon in D, which was also one of his most famous songs .
I am looking to buy the above CD from the Nature Impressions series Copyright 1997. It is entitled, Adrian Scott: Pachelbel In Nature I was distributed out of Canada and is for relaxation and enjoyment.
Pachelbels Canon in D is not Christmas music.
Perhaps someone has combined this piece with something else, but it wouldn't have been composed by Pachelbel.
Yes he was married twice. His first wife, Barbara Gabler in October 1681. She died along with their only son in October of 1683 during a plague. In August 1684, he married his 2nd wife, Judith Drommer. They had 2 daughters and 5 sons.
The composition itself is not, but a particular performance may be. You can look around for a peformance that's under a loose license, or maybe just make one yourself.
