User Avatar

Asked by Cim5

Knot is the generic term that includes hitches, bends, and stoppers. Hitches are used to tie a line (rope) to another object, Bends are used to tie two lines (ropes) together, and stoppers are used to stop a line from slipping (usually at the end of a line). Just remember you tied your horse to the hitchin(g) post.

Dear Girls if you are trying to tie up a boy then what you should do is go out on a date with the guy and then go for a drink and get the guy drunk enough and let him take you to a hotel and have a kissing scene with the door closed and take of the mans/boys clothes so he is naked and his trousers and with you make sure you have some handcuffs or black masking tape and tie his hands up or handcuff them to the bed then bring somethiing so he cannot see anything an make sure you put some masking tape on his mouth.

Girls, if you want to have fun with the guy all tied up and helpless, then you can bring lipstic, eyeliner and anything eles you might want to do on him and then when you have had your fun make sure you don't leave the keys for the handcuffs make sure you take the masking tape and the handcuffs keys and leave himthere all tied up and iyou want then girls, how about you call your other girls down and really have fun with him. if he is wearing boxers then make sure you get some tomato sause or salad cream and pour it all over him boxers and naked body and pull him boxers up a little bit and put some down there as he will not like it at all then leave and go home or where ever eles you may want to go to.

How do you you untangle a knot with one hand?

User Avatar

Asked by Felixdavenfook43err

If a line is tangled, you most likely cannot undo it with one hand.

However, if is a knot that needs to be undone, many knots can be undone with one hand. If a knot is "slipped", which means it has an end that will release it, the slipped end is pulled. This is the way you untie shoelaces, which are tied with a double slipped square knot.

If the knot is not slipped, the next easy way to undo it is to "spill" the knot. Depending upon the type of knot, this usually requires two hands. To spill the knot, a section that looks like a loop is pushed or pulled in the direction away from the load which will either loosen the knot or release it.

If a knot cannot be spilled or slipped, it will require 2 hands and can be difficult, sometimes also requiring a tool.

What are parts of a pulley?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Wheel and axle.

* Correction - The proper names for a pulley, which is a part of a set of "blocks" include the sheave (the wheel), the axle (supports the sheave which rotates around it), the thimble or terminal (a hook or loop), the cheek (to the side of the sheave), and when it is set up, it includes the line (the rope). Assembling the line properly through the blocks is called "reeving".

How would you describe slip knot?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

If you mean a regular slip knot, I can help. You start out by looping a strand of yarn around your finger. Then, you slip it off, keeping the loop intact. You take string from the yarn on the right side of the loop and lay it across the loop. Pull it through the loop, closing it. The yarn should be poking out, and should closely resemble a noose. And then, you're done. As a cautionary note, I would like to add that if you pull on either side of the knot at once, then the knot will slip apart, hence the name 'slip knot.' So, be careful!

What is the Celtic knot symbol for family?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I have an ancient medieval symbol for Family tattooed on me. I haven't been able to find it online so I can show you, but I saw it in a book once. It is a vertical line with an X through it, so with all lines conjoined, it would resemble this: >|< and there is a base line beneath it. So it would almost look like a classic teepee design. But, here's why: The symbol for man looks like a three pronged rake turned upside down. That would be the lines that go from the bottom up, and then also branch out to the top left and top right. The symbol for woman is simply a triangle with a stem coming up. The two symbols nest inside one another, making the classic teepee like shape. On either side of this design, to represent children, two small circles are drawn. o>|<o Like that, only with the underlining base line beneath it included as well. I hope this is able to answer your question.
