Either way when you shampoo it most of it should come off within the first wash. If it do not come off right away you can use some clarifying shampoo to remove it as it removes build up from the hair.

first you obtain a packet of Kool-Aid (i prefer the grape flavour),
mix it with the normal amounts of sugar (for a 1-gallon pitcher (1 cup)), but then weigh out the powder-sugar mixture, combine that with an equal amount of plain flour (or white flour), mix that in with the powder and add a dash of water, mix the water into the powder until it is fully incorporated, then add another dash of water, repeat process until a semi-thick and sticky dough is obtained.
place the dough in a bowl and chill (in a refrigerator) for about 30 minutes, then remove from the refrigerator and place on a flat surface (heat up the oil here), start rolling the dough into balls roughly the size of a Golf ball (or bigger, but it would take longer to cook), once the dough ball has been rolled, place on a sheet of greaseproof paper and repeat the process until all the dough has been used. then take the sheet of greaseproof paper by each corner (you may need help with this) and slowly lower it into the oil, making sure the center is submerged in the fryer, then let go of one end of the paper, and let the rest of the dough balls roll in, taking extra care not to splash the oil, then lower the other two corners into the oil to place the last of the dough balls.
once all the dough has unstuck from the paper and entered the oil, take a spatula or flat metal utensil with drainage holes, and use it to flip the dough balls when they obtain a harder appearance, then remove the balls and drain excess oil, serve either in a cup, with cold kool-aid syrup (just add a dash of water to the sugar-kool-aid powder and mix, then chill), or on a plate, with syrup of any kind.
