The Democratic Party

The KKK, in the form of the "First Klan" in the 1800s, served the Democratic Party by persecuting Republicans, intimidating them, killing them, and stigmatizing them. The KKK helped keep the South a one-party ("solid South") region for over 100 years, up until the early 20th century. Many people in the region at that time would only vote for Democratic Party candidates because of this history.

In the early 20th century, the Klan sought out bipartisan membership, and this coincided with the Democrat party's becoming increasingly liberal, and the Republican party growing more conservative.

Beginning in the late 1960s, conservatives in the South began to vote increasingly Republican because of that party's perceived conservatism. This was reflected in the election results for Richard Nixon in 1968. As of the late 1960s, there is no further reason for the association of the Klan with Democrats.

I am sure most of you have heard of the old cartoon called "The Smurfs" well I was watching some old episodes the other day and I realized

something, The smirfs wear hats that look just like the KKK's hats, I thought this was just a silly thing untill I saw pappa smurf (the leader of the

smurfs) and noticed he was wearing a red pointed hat, just like the leader of the KKK, I mean is this all just coincidence or is the smurfs promoting

the KKK?

Another thing, how they are always trying to keep outsiders out of there villiage, the same way the KKK would like to see black people out of "there

villiage" AKA America, I mean this is just to many coincidences so I think that the smurfs show is promoting the KKK to children, it teaches them

that Change is bad, there is one supream race, to keep outsiders (other races) away from you, I would like some follow up on this, and also that guy

that the smurfs hate, the one with the black cat, take notice, the guy wears a black robe and his cat is black, does that guy and his cat represent

Given the history between Catholics and Protestants, it is natural that the group would hate Catholics; given its militant doctrine of hatred and placing a single racial-religious group as above all others, it is obvious that the group would prefer to kill Catholics.

The main activities of the KKK centered on attempting to maintain white supremacy.
