I saw one early in the spring time, very early in the morning, about 10 years ago, in Cambridge, at the intersection of JFK Street and Memorial Drive. It was sitting on the grass next to the bridge, while I was riding on my bicycle across the bridge, going from Harvard Business School towards Harvard Square. I was stunned, never saw these big cats in the wild before or after.

Sleeping in the trenches was horrible. It was dirty, sweaty, smelly, and crouded. It got hard to breathe at times and many people got ill which meant that there were many germs in the air. Soldiers would have to practicly sleep on top of each other which meant that they had a very uncomfertable nights sleep.

The Eurasian Lynx (Lynx lynx) is the largest member of the Lynx family, with males standing around 70 cm at the shoulder. They weigh up to 30 kg (males) and 18 kg (females). Their length can be from 80 to 130 cm.

The Bobcat is named for it's short, bobbed tail. It is about twice the size of an ordinary housecat and half the size of a Lynx. Their tufted ears are quite distinguishable. They are native to North America.

Lynx are very adaptive to many different habitats. It's rare but not unheard of with Lynx living in the desert. If there is enough water and enough food, a Lynx may den in the desert but I don't believe it would be for very long. Lynx prefer wooded areas.

Lynx are afraid and hunted by Wolves and Cougars. How I know? I had a cabin up the mountains and I have seen many fights.
Lynx cats are medium sized wild cats 25 to 60 lbs. They inhabit the northern regions of North America. They feed on mice rabbits and deer. They look very much like a bobcat but are a little larger.

1. He is peeing on the newspaper to stake out his territory. Rabbits are very territorial.

2. He is eating the newspaper because he is bored.
