Healthy nails are usually a consistent pink color. They are hard and moist enough that they do not break or split too easily. The edges of your nails should stop while still on the finger, and the nails should be firmly attached to your nail beds. Healthy nails are smooth, and the texture shouldn't include things like Beau's lines, which are deep grooved lines from side to side of the fingernail. Beau's lines are a sign of infection or Kawasaki disease. Nails should also run straight out of the finger tip, as opposed to curving out (koilonychias: a sign of anemia).

Does nail polish help your nails grow?
Different nail polishes can have different results, but generally, it does make some differences, it does make nails grow a bit slower than when you don't have any nail polish on.
Protecting the nail from wear can help then be longer, not by making them grow, but by helping them not wear off.
Cheap polish and remover and not using a good base coat can make them dry and they may peel or split more.

How do you get nail polish out of your dryer?
I have not done this for Nail polish but it works great to remove ink stains from your clothes dryer:
Use 2 cups of bleach in a bucket filed about halfway with water. Use old towels and soak up the liquid in the bucket. Squeeze out access, u don't want it Soaked just damp.
Place towel directly into the dryer to remove the ink and run an entire cycle. Repeat if necessary. When you feel you have removed the ink sufficiently, place an old dry towel in thedryer to make sure that you removed all of the ink
OR
You can also try to use CHEAP PERFUME (high alcohol content). Unplug Dryer and MAKE SURE ROOM IS WELL VENTILATED (windows open and fan going). With mask & gloves use white cotton rags to put perfume on rag, then begin wiping dried polish.
Manually rotate dryer drum, little by little, so you can wipe off all polish inside. When all polish is gone, wet a new, clean rag. Wipe off perfume residue from inside of dryer.
Setup fan atop the stool, with rear of fan facing dryer. (This will allow fan to pull perfumed air from the dryer.) Continue ventilating room for a couple hours. Do not run dryer till all fumes have dissipated! * Remember: The perfume has alcohol in it ~ and alcohol is flammable!

Is nail polish harmful if ingested by a child?
I think that metallic nail polsih may be bad for kids but only in those ages 3 and below. I would encourage children ages10 to 15 to wear nail polish due to the fact that they are a constant expression of style and fashion sense plus the are a way to contiuously boost confidence and self esteem. I believe wearing nail polish cannot harm your health or academic standings but should not be reapplicated week after week of daily. It should be applicated once a month and shouldn't be left on for long amounts of time. Thank you for reading this answer.

What is the best nail hardening polish?
If you mean what nail polish can you use to strenghten your nails: I have thin brittle nails. Over the years I have used every commercial "nail hardener" product out there, and none of them made my nails significantly harder. Getting acrylic nails is the only real solution I have found. After the initial treatment, they are only about $15 every 2-3 weeks, so you can have gorgeous nails without spending a lot of money.
If you mean what is a good way to make my nail polish last longer: It's very limited. You can put a fresh layer of top coat or clear polish over your nails every day, and let it dry completely. This will help, but normally nail polish on your natural nails chips after 3-5 days, anyway. Again, acrylic nails will help here as well. Nail polish adheres to acrylic much better and will last at least 4 weeks on acrylic nails.
i am told that no is it not because you lose the natural grease on more of the inside of your nail.
It depends where you are at, but I would say probably $20 (at least in the US) if you are doing it professionally.
Do all nail polish removers have acetone?
Yes, you can remove a shellac manicure with acetone remover, just soak a cotton ball in the remover and hold it onto your nail for a few min, this should help.
When you are finished, soak your nails in some warm olive oil for about 10 to 15 minutes, then give them a massage and your cuticles too.
