MASH

Gary Burghoff (b. 05/24/1943) played Radar O'Reilly in the CBS television series, M*A*S*H (1972-83). In 2015 he is 72 years old and is an inventor, artist and stamp collector.

The game MASH is a friendly game played by preteens to predict each other's future. MASH is an abbreviation of Mansion, Apartment, Shack, and House. Players write MASH at the top of a paper and think of multiple categories such as cars, spouses, and pets. Each player thinks of two items for each category. One of the players draws a swirl until the player the MASH is about says to stop. The number of lines in the swirl are counted and each one of those items are crossed off the list. Alan Alda played Capt Benjamin "Hawkeye" Pierce on the CBS television show M*A*S*H (1972-83). He is still very much alive (March 2015). He is kept busy by his numerous projects and is a Visiting Professor at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Journalism.

On the CBS television series M*A*S*H (1972-83), Trapper John McIntyre left Korea when he was called back to the States to complete his service. He made the trip successfully. It was Col Henry Blake who was shot down over the Sea of Japan when he was on his way home to process out of the active Army.

Austrailan character actor John Orchard (born November 15, 1928-died November 3, 1995) appeared as Australian anesthetist Ugly John in the first season, and later appeared in 8.13 as disgruntled and drunken Australian MP Muldoon, who has an arrangement with Rosie the barkeeper: he takes bribes (in the form of liquor in his "coffee" mug) to "look the other way." Orchard's attempts at an Australian accent were a dismal failure as he was unable to disguise his Cockney origins.

When the show started, Linville signed a five-year contract and was offered a renewal for two more seasons when his contract expired, but he declined. After five seasons, Linville had grown tired of playing the same negative, cartoonish antagonist, especially since during that period, the show's tone had changed from pure comedy to more drama-focused story lines. Linville also felt that he had taken the Frank Burns character as far as he could, given how M*A*S*H had developed, and decided to leave the series so he could pursue other, more challenging roles.

The Joker is Wild. For the record she did not parade around around camp, it was a stunt to setup Hawkeye. The premise of the episode was Hawkeye kept talking about how Trapper John was the Joke King. A challenge ensues where it is agreed that BJ Hunnicut could pull a prank on all the main cast. The loser had to stand on the table in the mess hall in his boxers and sing "Your the Tops".

BJ won because he had the rest of the crew in on the joke. Here is a list of jokes in no particular order.

1.Some one "cuts a heart shape hole in the back of her robe" so her behind shows on the way to the shower.

2.Klingers files "blow up".

3. Col.Potters tooth paste replaced with "shaving cream".

4. Father Mulcahy's food was "over salted" due to the shaker lid cumming off.

5.Winchester finds a "dead snake in his bed"

6.The ultimate joke was making Hawkeye so paranoid that it drives him nuts cause's him to lose the bet.
