I don't see why not, other than if you were selling it to people who didn't really need it. If you were growing it for personal use, maybe they would let you. Maybe they don't really care at all. To obtain a prescription for medical marijuana, you must first got a doctor. If the doctor feels that the use of the medicine will be beneficial to your health, he will give you a card. The medical card (thanks to prop 215) will allow you to posses a given amount (usually 1oz-3oz) at one time. You will also be allowed to go to a marijuana dispensary to legally purchase your medicine. That way you don't have to associate with street dealers, and the black market of pot. After obtaining a 215 card, you could also legally grow your own plants. Of course, you can only grow it for yourself, and there is a limit on how much you can grow. Just like any other flower (because it is just a flower you know) or vegetable, it can be extremely cheap and easy to grow successful plants

So get a card if you feel you need one, but please don't flaunt it and take advantage of it. Don't ruin what so many have been fighting so hard for.
