The simple answer is yes, they are the same thing, marijuana is marijuana is marijuana. The only thing that makes medical marijuana "medical" is that is distributed at dispensaries and done so in a legal fashion. It is grown the same way as most marijuana (in soil or hydroponic setups). However, the bill passed in California does specify that the dispensaries SHOULD do their best to gaurantee that their product was grown organically and doesnt contain any pesticides/additives etc. However at this current time there isn't any real way for them to gaurantee such a thing. So yes its just well grown(and sometimes not so well) REGULAR marijuana. It is the same strains they have over in Amsterdam (and everywhere else in the world for that matter), only difference being its sold from a dispensary therefore deemed "medical marijuana". It is produced by the same people in the same fashion as regular high grade marijuana. It is a misconception that these people are heavely regulated (such as a pharmecutical company). They simply are grown by experienced gardeners (usually), that's all. "Medical marijuana" simply refers to where and how it was purchased, simple as that.

weed is technically legal for medical uses in NJ but they have not set up a prescription system so you cannot legally obtain a prescription for marijuana in the state of NJ so the answer is no

you have to pay off a doctor to say that you have troubles that only marijuana can cure like glaucoma.... i know ppl that did it and it works. figure its going to be really expensive though. a doctor is not going to want to lose his license over a measly 100 dollars

Assuming you are in a place where medical marijuana is permitted, an appendix removal is not a valid reason for it. After having it removed, there is no reason why you would need the marijuana, since it doesn't cause any extreme pain and has no need of the various effects often quoted as beneficial of marijuana.

The other half that use are lifeless people who have nothing better to do than get high all day. The absolute total out of the U.S population is about 71%.

I don't live in washington though I've heard its nothing of the sercumstance because its a medicine though going outside your legal guidelines will put you at risk of arrest and essentially prosecution. Best to look into up to date laws in your state. They all change day to day.

Wish I knew too. I'm a military dependent and my guess is probably 'no'. I'm afraid to ask Tricare, not that they need to fund it... but they would know if it has been approved. I suppose I could try to call them just to see their reaction. That would be a start. If they get short with me on the phone and become disrespectful, I'll know right away that it's not common enough to pursue it further.

Marijuana cannot be prescribed anywhere in the United State as prescribing a level one narcotic will cause them to lose their license. Level one narcotics are shown to have no medicinal value.

I do not want to be argumentative, although whoever answered this question should check it out a little more. It is legal and prescribed for medical use in Colorado, Montana and a few other states. Do some research!

My boyfriend had a very severe case of psoriasis for 10 years his skin would crack and bleed. It was so bad I left our bedroom. With in the first 2 month of smoking marijuana his skin started to clear now after 6 month you can't even tell he had psoriasis. Its a miracle cure. we live in fear of prosecution every day but its worth it. If I could post pictures to prove it I would.

Getting a medical marijuana card can be done by anyone. I swear, it seems like you can get one for having just a hangnail in Colorado. But, medical marijuana card or not, you come up hot in a urinalysis, and your career is over. FMCSR does not allow for any exceptions on the zero tolerance policy for drugs.

But you would need a parental advisor with you to state your condition. You then must pay for your license, as well as there caregiver license. You can NOT enter the dispensary without your caregiver until you are 18.
