Are the rules in netball fair?
The rules are fair. Because if someone catches the ball when they were running and they take one step but they take another step, the umpire closest to the person on the other side of the line. The umpire will say, "Stepping. Free pass to the other team." And it will probs be the WD, who would take the ball and take their free pass. I hope you understand this. If you need more info here is some rules:
1. No taking more then one step when you have the ball in your full grasp.
2. No pushing, shoving, or touching a player with the ball in their grasp.
3. No passing certain lines, depending on the letters on your bib.
4. No swearing at the other players, umpires, the crowd or anyone else, or you will be sent off.
Hope I helped u.
Why do netballers wear dresses to play a netball game?
Most netballers wear dresses but some wear a skirts and tops. The reason for the short dresses is because they're mad out of light material so not only will it keep them cool and refreshed but because they are short they can't get caught on anything and they don't catch the wind. Therefor they can run faster and not have to struggle.
What are the rules in playing hi 5 netball?
Same as 7 players, but the GK and GS can go in the same places as GD and GA. you also have no WA or wd and YOU HAVE 4 SECONDS WITH THE BALL AND YOU CANT MARK WITH YOUR ARM UP
The main rule is to run with the ball- As soon as it gets passed to you, hold it under your arm and run as fast as you can to the other side :)
I also like to jump when I touch-down, it helps with the impact.
Most netballers are left handed, so always pass with your left hand, because the other players will be confused if you don't.
The last rule is always have fun!!

When a player is penalised for offside in netball what is the penalty and where should it be taken?
The ball is given to the opposing team, the penalty is taken from the sense of the infringement
Nothing at all, there is no rule preventing players from going off court, as long as they do not re enter in an offside position it is fine. However they must be careful not to be blocked from coming back on court by an opposing player such as the centre for example.
