Who serves the best breakfast in New Orleans?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I prefer Dots Diner. They have many locations and are open late at night. The employees go out of their way to cook the food however you like it. Good prices too. I recommend it.

I always head to Camelia Grill, an old-school Southern diner. The original location is in the Garden District and they recently opened a new Camelia Grill in the heart of the French Quarter with the same atmosphere and same great diner style food. Save room for the milkshakes (yes, even at breakfast).

Is synthetic marijuana legal to sell in new Orleans la?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

As of 2011, the New Orleans local government changed its view on marijuana to make way for law enforcement to focus on more serious crime. Local New Orleans government made possession of small amounts of marijuana a municipal offense rather than a criminal offense. Instead of receiving a minimum incarceration sentence, it is a $500 fine or up to 6 months in prison. The unique part of the change it is not mandatory for the police to arrest or fine you upon discovering possession. This is talking about local government of course. In the eyes of the state and the federal governments, marijuana possession is still illegal and considered a criminal offense. So steer clear of sheriffs and the DEA.

General Andrew Jackson was in charge of defending New Orleans from an assault by the British. Several of his actions before any conflict were not popular. Jackson imposed strict martial law on the city of New Orleans. This civil unrest was made more complicated by Baratarian pirates led by jean Lafitte. Because Jackson needed all the troops he could find, he reached an agreement with Lafitte to help defend New Orleans. Lafitte had been offered a deal by the British but considered it to be too small, and turned the British offers down.

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Erosion will occur eventually, the water will eventually break through the sea wall and start eroding the houses built behind it.

Sea walls are also very expensive to build, they take up a lot of the money from the local government, which means that taxes will increase for the residents in that particular area.

How long does expedited mail takes?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

USPS Priority Mail International takes, on average, six to ten business days. When you ship using USPS PMI from the United States to anywhere in the world, it takes about 5 days, then it will take another 2 or 3 days to get through Customs before it is finally delivered to its intended destination. Although PMI is cheap, it is not really recommended to use this shipping option because it is excruciatingly slow and packages usually have a higher probability of arriving damaged. USPS Express Mail International is better suited to your shipping needs, even though it is a little more expensive (but far cheaper than UPS or Federal Express). USPS EMI takes three to five days.
