Tevita Ofahengaue from Brigham Young was Drafted by the Arizona Cardinals as the 2001 256 overall pick.

As of January 27, 2013, the National Football Conference won 22 times, while the American Football Conference was victorious 21 times. In 2014, the Pro Bowl was changed so that players were selected in the style of a fantasy football draft by Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders. In the Pro Bowl played on January 26, 2014, Team Rice defeated Team Sanders, 22 to 21.

Yes but most players with Pro ambitions wait until their 3rd or 4th year because it gives them more time to grow and get better, but they might enter the draft only after 2 years if they are injury prone or think they are the best they will ever be and want to get as many years as possible in the major leagues

As of the 2007 season, the minimum rookie salary is $285,000. The seventh round pick probably wouldn't make much more than that.

all you have to do is complete college and make it to the scouting combine, from there you might or might not get drafted by scouts of the NFL

You have to be really good and have scouts notice you. The best (and most likely) way to get into the NHL draft is to get a scholarship to play for a college hockey team. If you are good, scouts and NHL executives will notice you and draft you. The odds are very unlikely, however.

As of August 9, 2007: The #1 pick in the draft, JaMarcus Russell, has not signed a contract. The #2 pick, Calvin Johnson, signed for 6 year deal for $64 million with $27.2 million guaranteed. That is an average of $10.66 million a year. The #32 and final first round draft pick, Anthony Gonzalez, signed a 5 year contract for $10.3 million with $5.4 million guaranteed. That is an average of $2.06 million a year.

Most all first round draft picks sign a 5 or 6 year contract. Since all 32 draft choices are not signed it is not possible to come up with an average but it would be safe to say an average of $5 to $6 million a year would be in the ballpark.

Cleveland Browns selected Tim Couch, quarterback out of Kentucky with the 1st overall pick in 1999.

Couch was widely regarded as a bust. The number 2 pick, Donovan McNabb, has gone on to be the most successful quarterback in Philadelphia Eagles history.

DE Richard Dent and RB Roger Craig made it to the final round of the 2010 elections but were not elected. Dent was taken in the 8th round and Craig was taken in the 2nd round.
