The longest book about a major prophet is likely to be a commentary or exegesis on the Quran, specifically on the chapters (surahs) that discuss the life and teachings of a prophet such as Muhammad, Moses, or Jesus. Tafsir al-Jalalayn or Tafsir al-Mazhari, which are renowned Quranic exegesis works, could be considered among the longest writings on major prophets.

There are various accounts of Queen Sheba's age when she married King Solomon, but historical reports suggest that she was likely an adult when she met him. Some estimates place her age at around 30-40 years old at the time of their meeting and marriage.

Roman client kings were rulers of certain regions or kingdoms that were allowed to maintain some autonomy and sovereignty while acknowledging the ultimate authority of Rome. They were expected to provide military support and loyalty to Rome in exchange for protection and financial assistance. This relationship allowed Rome to exert control over client kingdoms without direct administration.

The writings of 1 John 2:7-9 shed insight onto this new but old commandment.

7 Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. Likewise in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus presented the old testament laws in a new way. The differentiation is between following the letter of the law as opposed to knowing the meaning and intent behind the law.

The book of Psalms is the ancient Hebrew songbook used for the temple singers.

"Selah" is believed to be a specific musical notation, explaining what was expected at that point in the song. Many feel that "Selah" stands for a "pause" when singing or for silent meditation, to allow the words which were just sung, to sink in and be more impressive. The Greek Septuagint defined Selah("diapsalma") as "a musical interlude."

The Book of Isaiah is named after the prophet Isaiah who is believed to have authored it. Isaiah was a prominent figure in ancient Israelite prophecy, and his writings cover a wide range of themes including judgment, comfort, and the coming of the Messiah.

The two cities in Egypt that were built by Hebrew slaves are believed to be Pithom and Ramses. These cities were mentioned in the biblical account of the Israelites' enslavement in Egypt and subsequent exodus.

Moses climbed Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments from God after the Israelites had left Egypt. Abraham moved to Canaan many years before Moses, as part of God's promise to make his descendants a great nation.

The Old Testament ends with the Book of Malachi, where the prophet speaks about the coming of Elijah before the great and dreadful Day of the Lord. This sets the stage for the New Testament and the coming of Jesus Christ.

Abraham lived in tents as a nomad, moving from place to place with his family and herds of livestock. He did not have a permanent house but lived a lifestyle that involved dwelling in temporary structures.

Naomi was the mother-in-law of Ruth. When Naomi's son (Ruth's husband) died, Ruth refused to leave Naomi. Ruth went with Naomi back to her home town, where she remarried with a member of Naomi's husband's family. This blood line followed into the birth of David, who later came the birth of Jesus Christ. Therefore Naomi is considered to be of the bloodline of Jesus Christ.

Archaeologists and historians say that the real background of the Israelites is not to be found in the Bible but in the archaeological record and the records of the neighbouring peoples. They say that there was no biblical Exodus from Egypt and that the early Israelites were actually Canaanite dissidents who left the coastal cities to settle in the largely uninhabited mountainous hinterland. They brought with them their beliefs and traditions, including the idols of their Canaanite ancestors.

It was only during and after the reign of King Josiah of Judah that monotheistic Judaism was introduced as the official religion of Judah. The books of the Bible written at this time acknowledged the polytheistic past, but included stories of prophets who seemed to battle constantly to bring the people back to just one God. But belief in just one God had never been part of Israelite or Judahite culture until late monarchic times.

It was the earthly residence of God.

Note: Touching the Ark was itself fatal and touching it resulted in immediate death. This was not a punishment doled out by Israelites on other Israelites after the fact.
