What is a sea otter current situation?
Sea otters were over-hunted in the early 1900's which ended in a BIG decline in their population. Oil spills have resulted in matted fur which lowers their body temperature which leads to hypothermia. Then they die. Also, killer whales (orcas) have been killing these animals due to a change in their food.

I believe they do, yes. I was driving, earlier today from the city of Casale and saw two Otter like animals in a field by the road. I stopped to get a closer look but they immediately took refuge in the swollen drainage ditch that was quite high due to rains.
