How would the exctinction of the Marine Otter affect the world?
It's called the "domino effect" which basicly means that if one domino falls another will too so on and on like that. Otters eat sea urchins that eat kelp that produce oxygen, habitat and food for other marine life.If the otters go extinct then there would be an over population of sea urchins. With an over population of sea urchins, the kelp forests will quickly siece to exist. Without kelp, sea urchins and hundreds of other sea creatures will begin to go extinct and so on. It all really has too do with the food chain and eventually if the change is great enough it will effect us too! -BC
they also eat crab
