What can a girl turn into after beauty pageants?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

A normal, more balanced girl, rather than one who puts too much focus, time, money, energy and emphasis on looks; a girl who will grow into a woman, one who will be able to focus on her future in a more positive and constructive way.

No matter how beautiful a girl is, the beauty will eventually fade. So it's important to put more focus on the beauty on the inside, as well as her education and plans for her future that don't depend on beauty.

Girls who grow up thinking beauty is what really matters are hit especially hard after they get older and their looks begin to fade. When that happens, many of them go into a depression, feeling as though they have nothing left to offer, and even feel they are worthless.

And by aging, I don't mean old, I'm talking about women as young as their late 20's and early 30's. If you want to participate in beauty pageants, by all means, go for it. Just keep a healthy emotional balance, and realize that you are more than your looks - much more. You need to go into it with plans for your future that don't include how you look, whether it's a career in a business you like, or being a wife and mother, or anything in between.

Turn into? She doesn't turn into anything. She is still a human being. If you are asking what career path is available to someone that has been on the beauty pageant track, the list is endless. Most finish college or go on to graduate degrees (Law, medicine, PhDs etc.). Some have successful careers in the entertainment industry.

National American Miss is one of the largest reputable Pageant Organizations in the United States. Their Mission Statement is:

The National American Miss Pageant is dedicated to celebrating America's greatness and encouraging its future leaders. Each year, the pageant awards thousands of dollars in scholarships and prizes to recognize and assist the development of young women nationwide. The National American Miss Pageant is for "Today's Girl and Tomorrow's Leaders." The pageant programs is based on inner beauty, as well as poise, presentation, and offers an "All American Spirit" of fun for family and friends. Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confident, volunteer work, learning new skills, learning good attitudes about competition, and setting and achieving personal goals. The pageant seeks to recognize the accomplishments of each girl while encouraging her to set goals for the future.

My daughter was crowned Miss New Jersey Princess Queen in August of 2007. She has made many appearances throughout the state of New Jersey during her reign and has volunteered her time for many good causes. This experience has been one of the best experiences of her life. I HIGHLY recommend it for any young girl.

How do judges chose you as beauty pageant winner?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

They don't choose you. Numbers do.

Let's say, in the confidence division, Rachel is given a 3 by one judge, a 5 by another and a 7 by the 3rd judge. Lisa is given a 5, 2, and 8. This is the way each division in a pageant is judged. When the pageant is over, all scores for each division are summed up and combined and the contestant with the highest score is the winner. Actual beauty has nothing to do with it.

Hello, If you have just starting BC pills and have missed the first pill in your pack then you have nothing to worry about. But please use protection for the first 4 weeks as you'll be at risk of pregnancy. However if you've missed the first pill of a new pack and you've been on BC pills for a while, then you will need to use a condom for 2 weeks to prevent pregnancy. Continue taking your pills as normal. Please note this is advice only and should not be used in place of that of a medical experts.
