Percy Jackson and the Olympians

As the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is concluded, there will not be another Percy Jackson series.

However, there will be another series featuring the characters from the Percy Jackson series, yet they will be minor characters. This new series is called the Heroes of Olympus, and the first book is titled the Lost Hero. The Lost Hero will be released on October 12th, 2010.

Rick Riordan has writen the Tres Navarre series, a mystery series FOR ADULTS. He has also written The Heroes of Olympus series, which adds on to the Percy Jackson series but isn't actually part of it. The Heroes of Olympus series includes: The Lost Hero, the Son of Neptune, and the Mark of Athena, (which comes out fall 2012). He has also written the Kane Chronicles series, which includes: The Red Pyramid, The Throne of Fire, and The Serpent's Shadow (comes out may 1st, 2012) He is planing on writing a series on Norse mythology in 2015

I guess in a way he was stubborn. His fatal flaw is caring for his loved ones. So he is stubborn when he risks his life for them. Or when he chooses them over the world (Mark of Athena when he falls into Tartarus with Annabeth instead of continuing the quest).

Well, it would definitely make more sense if you did. The main characters of Percy Jackson do appear in the Heroes of Olympus and the story plot has information from Percy Jackson. So if I were you, I would definitely read Percy Jackson first :) (that's what I did and everything made more sense)!

Overall, the mood is fun. It is a children's book after all, so it will not be too dark. There is a lot of humor (humor for children, mind you) as well as fun adventure scenes. At times, it may get a bit romantic between the main character, Percy, and his friend, Annabeth Chase, but the most romantic it gets is getting embarrased around eachother, and in the fourth book, a quick kiss. Also, it can get intense during battle scenes, but not extremely. Also, when someone dies, it does get sad, but not enough to make you ball your eyes out.

So, the Percy Jackson books are fun, and that is the best way to sum them up.

There is not a release date yet... in fact they haven't even started making it yet. Right now they are in process of filming the second percy jackson movie... the sea of monsters which comes out on august 16. After that you will have to wait until after they make the titan's curse before you will be able to see the battle of thelabyrinth. Sorry for the wait, we all wish that movies could come out faster but they take a while.

Rick Riordan has also written another series called The Kane Chronicles, a total different series about Egyptian Mythology. Even more recently published is the Son of Sobek and it's series.

Well Grover is Percy's 'Protector' but in high school together Percy was always protecting Grover from fights and stuff like that. So Percy is surprised when Grover believes that he is Percy's protector.

No. Percy Jackson and the Olympians is the full name of the series, while Percy Jackson is the shortened, abbreviated name people like to use (it's a lot easier to say). The real second book of the series is Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters.
