Piranha's have a very meaty taste. They are actually quite tasty. I would almost relate the taste to the fat off a ribeye steak, however it is still soft and flakey as most any other fish. The only problem with them is that they are quite boney.
They aren't.Although they can be dangerous on feeding frenzies, they do not normally attack people. Sharks are far more dangerous to people.
There is a place in Chicago that ships to many different places in the US. Try looking it up on Yellow Book or Google Maps.or you can ask a local pet store!!!
The Zambizi shark
Definetly the Bull shark, the tiger shark and the great white.
Piranha sleep with one eye open to be on the lookout for predators. When taken out of the water, they become extremely aggressive. They have adapted razor sharp teeth that allows them easier hunting.
no because sharks are larger in size and need to eat a bigger portion of fish then piranhas
Thier adaptations are thier stream lined shape, teeth, speed, and great smelling senses
I think four. Do a little more research to confirm my guess though.
no cuz they are freshwater fish and have adopted to live in freshwater so if they were to be moved to the ocean ,saltwater, they would die in a matter of secs cuz of not being able to adapt thanx good question!
piranha are small and fast is will be really hard for them to be hunt and they travel in pack so they can attack or eat
Piranhas have no special status on the IUCN Endangered Species Red list. They reproduce very quickly, making it difficult for them to be endangered. As long as hunting is discouraged, the piranha population should remain intact.
a piranha can live 7-10 years depending on how well the animal is taken care of
Sting rays and many other animals have bilateral symetry. That means that their left side is essentially a mirror image of their right.
No because of how vicious piranhas are they will try to eat young
The piranha are listed as abundant species in the Amazon river basin.

They'll eat anything if they can get close enough. In fact they will eat many of the Savannah's apex predators like as felines (such as lions, leopards and cheetahs). Typically they feed on fish and other small vertebrates (seperately), when large food is absent, as a side diet. As far as mammals are concerned, notable diet consists of waterbuck, sitatunga, lechwe, wildebeest, zebra, warthog, goats, sheep and cattle. However, they have been know to hunt in facks (usually five or more) which can lead to the capture of larger prey such as Cape buffalos, giraffes, hippopotamus and even the Black Rhinoceros.
