Pixar Animation Studios
Pixar Animation Studios, formally Graphics Group, started in 1979. They were part of Lucusfilm, before becoming independent with the help of Apple. The company was later purchased by Disney. Although Pixar is popular for their long films such as Up and Monster, Inc., they are also known for "bringing back" cartoon shorts. Pixar short films, such as Tin Toy, Geri's Game, and For the Birds have won various Academy Awards.

Well Buzz and Woody snuck into the pizza truck in the first movie, then it can be seen next to a mobile home in both A Bug's Life and Monsters Inc. You can also see it in Finding Nemo when Gil is talking about his escape plan. It is also behind the announcer at the final race in Cars and in the background of the moped chase in Ratatouille. You can also notice it when Eva is searching for life in WALL-E. Finally in the Toy Story2 car chase scene

There are two people who could take credit for founding Pixar. Steve Jobs and George Lucas.
- Pixar originally started out as the Computer Division of Lucasfilm Ltd. (owned by George Lucas). They made one computer animated short film that everyone liked, except George Lucas.
- Steve Jobs bought the Computer Division of Lucasfilm in the 1980s. He made them an independent company and they started to sell a computer called the Pixar Image Computer.

John Ratzenberger, an actor, also plays the voice of someone in every Disney Pixar movie. He is considered Disney Pixar's official "Good Luck Charm."
