You have to use it in battle if u want or use the scents you buy at agate village, or use the time flutes but i suggest using it to the stronger ones cause you only get like 3 in the game, if it says undo the final lock take that Pokemon to agate village and go to the celebi shrine
I only erases your Pokemon from Leaf Green and that is because it just does. You have to make a choise to either keep them on Leaf Green or to migrate them.-hope this helped if not notify me.

When you trade/send Pokemon to another GBC/GBA/console game with a fake/foreign copy your data will be automatically erased; it says so in most of the Pokemon games manuals.

You can't make Glalie learn Explosion in "Pokémon XD" however in order for it to learn Explosion you could trade it over to FireRed, LeafGreen or Emerald and have a Move Tutor in 1 of those games teach Explosion to your Glalie.

Battle, you will need to use Fire-type attacks on Metagross, you can use Water, Grass or Fighting-type attacks on Golem, Flying and Grass attacks will be effective on Marshtomp, Water-type attacks will be the most effective on Camerupt however Flying-type attacks would be effective as well and Entei being a Fire-type is weak to water-type attacks.

Well, I don't know what to tell you, my friend. Once you choose your Starter Pokemon, you're stuck with that Pokemon for the rest of the game. There are only three other ways to get Torchic that I can think of:
1. Trade a Torchic from Pokemon Sapphire, Emerald, or another Ruby.
2. Restart the game and choose a Torchic. I do not recommend this!!
3. Cheat using the action replay to get a Torchic.

You can find siny pokemon, but only at the places where you leave the snacks to attract wild pokemon.

~Actually, you can get shiny Shadow Pokemon, but you wont know they're shiny until you purify them. I had a Shadow Lugia and when I purified it, it was shiny. But it's rare. Even more rare since you cant steal non-shadow Pokemon. I saw this one guys video. His opponent has a shiny smeargle but couldn't catch it because it wasn't shiny.
