You can add hydraulic fluid to Porsche convertible top motor by popping open your engine hood and then pouring the hydraulic fluid into the appropriate compartment.

Mobil 1 0W-40 oil has been recommended by Porsche since 1995. All Bosch service centers and Porsche dealers use Mobil 1 0W-40 oil for Porsches. Most auto parts stores and Bosch centers carry this oil.

As for a 2008 Cayenne S the recommended is 0w-40 or 5w-40

and if it gets below -23 F only use 0w-40.

Since these are basically a VW transmission, it's the same procedure.

You use a 17mm hex drive socket, and remove the fill plug on the side of the transmission.

The fluid should be level with the bottom of the opening. Use your finger to see if it's low. You fill the fluid in the same opening.

You remove the drain plug on the bottom to change it.
