A postcard stamp looks like a first class stamp, only it has a smaller value. The size of the stamp is one inch by one inch.

Postage in 2002 started at 34 cents. The cost went up to 37 cents on June 30th. It was 33 cent until January 1999.

They could be obtained off the mail that was coming into the house. Just taking the stamps off the envelope and pasting them in a notebook or on pages. They had great pictures on them, truly being great works of art. There was a lot of history and geography that could be learned as well.
