She visits him at Hollis to rekindle their sparks, but she is clearly unhappy that they can't have their relationship out in public. Jason is not to be trusted by Spencer's family and when Spencer sees Jason protecting his shed, she decides to go see with Emily what he is hiding. They discover Jason has been stalking Aria, taking pictures of her while she is asleep. Because one of them dropped a flashlight, Jason knows someone broke in and disposed of the pictures.

A is still out to get Emily, torturing her with the blackmail of the growth hormone results, which messes with her relationship with Samara.

Another subplot is that Caleb was contacted by his birth mother--the "cop" turned out to be a private investigator hired by her. After calling and having a great conversation on the phone with her, he decides to fly out to California to visit her, leaving Hanna on a pretty emotional note. He tells her he will be back but she is worried.

Spencer, Aria, Hanna, and Emily see a girl who looks like Ali but only has slightly different characteristics. The girl's name is Tabathia and she talks to each of the four girls individually hinting at some of the girl's past secrets that only Ali would know. Tabathia tells the girls by leaving a note under their room door to meet them at the Crow's Nest she has something to show them. Tabathia is acting weird and grabs Hanna by the wrist and looks like she is trying to hurt her. Aria pushes Tabathia and Tabathia falls off of the top of the Cliffs Resort. They see the body laying on the beach and run down there. By the time they run down to the beach the body is gone and no where to be found. The girls figured that the body was washed away into the sea and they here nothing else about it for over a year. They lose contact with each other andn never speak of what happened in Jamaica until they begin getting texts from A once again revealing their every move and secrets. A tells them to turn on the TV and in Jamaica Tabathia's body had washed up and they said it looks like she had been in the water for about a year. Tabathia's parents had been searching for her after she ran away. They identified her by screws in her ankle from an accident. Tabathia also had been in a fire at the age of thirteen so the four girls had killed an innocent person.

EDIT: The girl's name is "Tabitha," not "Tabathia."
