The first A was Mona

The second A was Ali. Ali had a twin sister named Courtney. Courtney took over her life and Ali took hers. Courtney was mentaly ill so Ali ended up going to a mental hospital. Ali wanted revenge on the PLL and Courtney so she murdered Courtney and became A as payback for becoming friends with Courtney. Ali and Courtney were both insane. Ali tries to kill the four PLL but almost dies trying to. But Sarah Shepard is making it sound like Ali is still alive and wants revenge.

Alison threw a firework in the garage because for all these years Alison thought that Toby was spying on her and the 4 girls so they went down to the garage and Alison threw a firework in the garage. She thought that Toby was in there but Jenna was actually and the firework blasted in her eyes which caused her to be blind

Allison did when "the Jenna thing" happened. Alison set off a firework that hit Toby's treehouse, and Jenna was in it. She made Toby take the blame because he had been "touching" Jenna. Later on you find out that Alison had planned foe this to happen, because Jenna wanted to send Toby away.

Yes, she really is dead. In the book someone killed her and the girls (throughout the whole series) try and find out who is A and who killed their best friend Alison A.K.A Ali!
No, Alison is not dead she is in a mental hospital not completely sure why though. All I know is that Alison has a twin sister who's name is Courtney, and they switched places so then later it's Courtney who dies when she was in Alison's place.

There are actually a few. Ezra is suspected-but he's not one. Mona is one, Cece Drake is one, Toby is one at a point, and so is Spencer. I think that's it :)

No. No one did. Her twin sister Courtney got killed because Courtney was pretending to be Ali. After Alison (Courtney) got in an argument with Spencer Alison got her revenge of killing Courtney.

Alli and her posse (Aria, Emily, Spencer, and Hanna) were all trying on clothes when Alli shrieks, "Toby!" and points. Toby is standing outside watching them, smirks, and runs away. Alli decides to get even. Toby is obessed with fireworks, so Alli steals one, and lights it outside of his treehouse (it's different in the TV series, but the outcome is the same) to scare him. Alli gets distracted by seeing Toby doing something just as bad. The firework suddenly gets out of control, and shoots inside the treehouse, lighting it on fire, and causing an explosion. The parents of Toby rush outside, yelling. Alli runs away, and all the girls are scared. Turns out, Jenna was inside the treehouse, and the blast blinded her. She was taken to the hosipital, and came out okay, but still blind, nevertheless.

it was Mona, but after she dies, a new A comes back. The new A is actually ALI. ali has a twin sister, Courtney. and she was the one that was killed. And it was actually Courtney that was friends with Spencer, Hannah, Emily, and aria. Courtney lived in a mental institute but tricked ali into going. so ali got revenge & killed her, pushing her down the hole. so ali became A to get back at the pretty little liars.

no Mona is not dead Spencer found out that a was Mona so Mona tried to push her of a cliff but mona ends up falling and they think she dies but later we found out that she was put in a special hospital for crazy people hope that helped on the pll mystery

Allison's still alive, she's pretending to be her twin sister, her twin is the one that died, because Alli killed her, so Alli kills Jenna because Jenna knows this & she's afraid she'll tell somebody, so Jenna dies, but Jenna is not 'A', Mona is but Mona dies when she try's to kill spencer, so Alli takes her place as 'A'.

after the fire everyone askes the same question is ali still alive? no she isn't the fire caught her

In the books, Toby dies from a drug overdose. He does not go to jail.

Spencer and Mona go into the woods and find someone on the ground laying by camping gear, wearing a biking helmet. They seen something on his body that indicated it was Toby. Mona distracted Spencer and they left before actually looking at the face. Toby then tried to meet Mona at the diner and instead met Spencer. He then admitted that he had to join the "A" team to protect Spencer.
