Queen's main singer and frontman (but not leader, contrary to a popular belief) was Freddie Mercury, but other members Brian May (guitarist) and Roger Taylor (drummer) also frequently sang backing vocals in both studio and live performances, as well as occasional lead vocals. John Deacon (bassist) also sang some backing vocals in rare live performances.

It was recorded as part of the 'News of the World' album. This was recorded at Sarm West Studios and Wessex Studios.

From what I've heard, Queen is considered classic rock. I've also heard people say that they're also considered glam rock. I know they've even influenced heavy rock bands, but I believe that Queen is either classic or glam rock.

In Freddie Mercury's lifetime it was The Show Must Go On (1991), the last one with Freddie on vocals was You Don't Fool Me (1996) and the last one under the collective name Queen (without Paul Rodgers) was No-One But You (Only The Good Die Young, 1997) with Brian and Roger sharing vocals.

No. Freddie hadn't even contracted AIDS yet. Bohemian Rhapsody was released on the album "A Night At The Opera" in the year 1975 which is 16 years before his death in 1991. No one even knew AIDS existed. It was first identified in the 1980s.

Of course. Queen is known all over the world. They stole the show at Live Aid, have sold millions of albums, and have written some of the most popular songs in the world (We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, and Bohemian Rhapsody).

Not to mention they've toured in so many countries.

His powerful vocals and on-stage aura are well remembered, and his tragic death made him legendary.

"Bohemian Rhapsody" was a song on Queen's 1975 album, "A Night At The Opera."

The only one that was ever in the band that is dead is Freddie Mercury but John Deacon isn't in the band anymore the only ones that are still in the band are Brian May and Roger Taylor

the band originated from a group called Smile. This comprised of Brian May and Roger Taylor. Then Freddie Mercury came along (they all were at London Imperial College) and gave them advice. The three of them then became a band (Still under the name Smile I think) and auditioned for a bassist, They went through many a choice until finally deciding on John Deacon. The new line up became Queen. Brian May on Guitar, Roger Taylor on drums, John Deacon on bass and Freddie Mercury as Vocalist.

A Possible Interpreation The actual lyric in the licensed sheet music starts "Mama just killed a man" -- with no comma after "Mama." One possible reading that explains "my trigger" is that both the narrator and Mama are responsible. Mama killed the man by putting the gun against his head and setting off the narrator, who does the actual killing ("pulled my trigger" being roughly analogous to causing him to do something by "pushing his buttons"). Perhaps someone caused the narrator to kill another person, or a relationship with another person, or even a part of himself. This reading might make sense for a lyricist who compartmentalized his ethnicity and sexuality.
