If you double clutch when you shift, it can spare the transmission from un-due harm since it lowers your chance of missing the gear by syncing the flywheel a little more closely to the transmission input shaft speed. Almost no street racer does this simply because stock syncros do a pretty good job already in modern cars. YES! Very sorry to break it down to you like this but its a fact. An ideal race car driver would have started racing when he/she was about 8 years old. If you have UNBELIEVABLE talent to showcase then you MAY make it in racing but its almost impossible always. You may start racing as a hobby and also if lucky get sponsored for a couple of events but as a CAREER, its a NO.

I wouldn't say that it is too late, its just a little later then most. Yes most drivers start at a young age but it is never too late to start something.

Examples:

Jeff Gordon, a 4 time NASCAR champion, started when he was 5 years old.

Matt Kenseth, the 2003 NASCAR Winston Cup Champion didnt start until he was 16 years old.

There are plenty of programs out there that can help any age driver get started in racing. Im 22 (was 20 at the time) and I did a program where they are helping me move up the ladders of the NASCAR series.

i say if u want low end torque but want more hp then go with the b16a2 the engine and tranny just are the perfect match for eachother make great power if u know how to build it from the ground up these engine could take real beatings without sleeving so b16a2 any day

Two valves are needed when filling tires with nitrogen. One is used to allow existing air in the tire to be expelled as nitrogen flows in from the other valve. Once expelled, the second valve is closed so that the tire is 100% filled with pure nitrogen. Nitrogen is used because it does not absorb water as does the air we breathe and this allows the balancing of the wheel & tire to remain unaffected by moisture content in the air.

it depends on what kind of engine it is. if it's an engine purely made for racing it can have 600+ hp. if it's an engine like a standard sedan or a pickup it will typically have less than 450hp (unless you have a 2010 Corvette with 500hp).
