Is it necessary to keep red wine in brown bottles?
Brown bottles help prevent oxidation of red wine by exposure to light. If the wine is protected from light by another means (e.g. storage in a barrel), the brown bottle itself is not necessary.

My opinion is for a nice dinner - wine is favorable. For a casual dinner - beer is the favorite. YMMV..........................
What famous product is made by La Rioja?
The Spanish wine region of La Rioja is most famous for its Rioja wine, which is made from grapes in La Rioja, Navarre, and Ãlava. La Rioja is a Denominación de Origen Calificada, meaning it is a qualified region of origin for wine. Rioja wines are a blend of the grapes from the previously mentioned regions and can be red, white, or rosé. Rioja wine's most distinct characteristic is its oak aging; the youngest wine (Rioja) spends less than a year in oak, while the oldest wines of the region (Rioja Gran Reserva) has been aged at least two years in oak and three years in a bottle.
Does Pinot Noir grape from Bouzy Champagne village have red juice instead of clear?
For most fine wines, the wine gets it color from the skins being left in the tank for a certain period of time after they squeeze the juice out. There are some varieties of grapes, for example Concord grapes in the US, that have purple juice. There are also some indigenous varieties in eastern Europe that have purple juice, but this is not the case for the grapes used in Champagne, in this case the red-skinned grapes pinot noir and pinot meunier, and the white-skinned grape chardonnay.
How do you remove red wine stains?
How long does a bottle of wine last once it has been opened?
Depends on many different factors... some very old wines may last only a half hour or less after being opened. In general, however, most wines will last two days or so provided you re-cork them and store them in the refrigerator... the idea being to keep out the oxygen. Just remember to reds out an hour or so beforehand so they have time to come back up in temperature for serving. There are many excellent wine vacuum pumps and machines to fill bottles with inert gas to preserve the wine even longer.
White wine should be consumed within a week of opening. Red wine can stay around a bit longer, but it should also be consumed within 2 weeks of opening. Oxygen is a big enemy of wine.
Red wine can be served with fish, especially if the fish is prepared in a way that give it a hearty flavor.
