Keep in mind that "bull" is used for the males of several mammal species.

Asked by Wiki User

Yes, the Rhino is endangered. Four out of the five species of rhinoceros are considered threatened with extinction: the Javan rhino (no more than 48 left), Sumatran (200 left), Indian or greater one horned (2,800 left) and black rhino (about 4,200 left). The white rhino has made a stunning recovery from fewer than 200 animals in the early 1900's to more than 18,000 today, thanks in large part to the concerted efforts of conservationists and local governments. User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The horn in animals that have horns is used for defense and for mating rights (i.e., the larger the horns on a buffalo, the more likely he is to mate with a harem of buffalo cows).

The horn on a vehicle is to alert pedestrians or other drivers that you, the driver, are there, or as an alarm system.

A horn (also called the French Horn) is also a musical instrument that is used to accompany an orchestra or wind ensemble in a musical piece that requires a horn to be played.
