Yes, a river delta is a suspension, which is a type of heterogeneous mixture.

Egypt is the gift of the Nile, without the Nile, Egypt would not be inhabited. The Egyptians depended on the Nile, for what was the only fresh water for miles, and miles, since most Egyptians farmed to make a living. The water was very important, also it was a way of transport, and move heavy things like limestone blocks, for the pyramids. Also the pharaohs sailed on huge barges, so that the people of Egypt could worship them.

The Tigre Delta, located between Arentina and Uruguary, is the second largest delta in the world. This delta is second largest to the Ganges Delta located in Bangladesh India.

They are both fertile, almost oasis like places. the Nile River Delta is a fertile and luscious place. The Nile River Valley is about the same, except a delta isn't the same thing as a valley.

Erosion and deposition formed the delta. Sediments were carried south by the river from the central US, including its tributaries including the Ohio, Missouri, and Red Rivers.

A river delta is the landform occurring at the river mouth, where the river meets the sea. It is largely a result of the silt brought down by the river system. The river spreads out in a fan shape into many channels called distributaries, which form outlets and islands. Notable Deltas are the Nile, Amazon and the Mississippi.

Deltas are produced when rivers bring down sediment and deposits from the catchment area. These deposits form a chemical reaction with the seawater and different soils of the coast, coagulating into a clay which settles on the river bed.

Deltas are only formed where there is high velocity of the river dumping into an almost tideless sea. The sediment is thus deposited over a wide area.
