99.9% of the rides, weather they are flat rides or roller coasters, have a way for the mechanic to repair them when there's a breakdown.

Go to any ride or attractions ticket booth (entry point). Look behind the swinging gates to the right side of the steps of a roller coaster ride, or on flat rides (re. Gravitron), you will have to look somewheres in the ride.

What you are looking for is a small box with a symbol or icon on it (looks like a "lightingbolt", to me). When the ride breaks down a mechanic will be summoned, or you can have the liberty of reminding a mechanic that a ride has broken down. When he arrives at the ride, he will approach the box, pull his trusty screwdriver out of his red tool box and commence to repair the ride. That's right! All rides are repaired at this small box. No ride is repaired physically.

I have been playing RCT3 ever since it came out. One time I had to see what this small box looked like when the mechanic was there. The view is not that clear but what I think I saw was a circle in the box that, apparently, this is what he would use the screwdriver for. I think its some kind of a clock timer and the screwdriver is used to reset the timer after he repairs the ride.

After giving it carefull consideration, I have an idea what this box does or looks like inside of it. I have my idea drawn on paper. Inside view: on top is a LED readout, for which he reads everytime he inspects the ride. It indicates the problem, or whatever. In the middle, is the timer. There are 12 little red lights showing the time for his next inspection. There is an option for every ride to where you can change his inspection time for each ride. The 10 minute mark is the fastest. And last, on the bottom is a "on-off" switch.

There is no unlock code for Roller Coasters in Tycoon 3. To unlock the roller coasters you must go into career mode and complete the scenarios.

The quality of a captured movie depends on the computer's resources, such as your processor's speed and how much video memory is available. On a dual core processor with 256 MB of video memory, the video capture can become quite sluggish. I'm not sure if Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 has animal houses. I know Zoo Tycoon 1 (and maybe 2) have them.

You might need Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 - Wild! to get animal houses because you can make zoos with Wild! addition pack. But I'm not certain if they have animal houses.
