She is important because, she is one of the best tennis players in the world!
Is it time for Venus and Serena Williams to retire?
Both Venus and Serena should retire. Some people have their 15 minutes of fame while they have had over a half hour. They should retire not only because of their age but because they can't win matches like they use to. Venus has that immune disease and she seems to tire easily. She can't compete with the young energetic girls of today. They are like sharks and they smell the blood in the water. Serena should throw in the towel because obviously she is not in optimum condition and looks overweight. She is huffing and puffing and falling down on the court. At least go out with some dignity. They have enough money. All of the great guy players are getting old too but you can tell they put a lot of work into strength and conditioning like Rafa. Even so, their days are numbered also. It would be nice if the sisters would open some type of training school or camp and teach kids to play the sport. They might produce a superstar or two and the kids can earn college scholarships.

From what I know of Serena Williams is that she was raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. But the Bible clearly states that every person must decide for themselves if they will follow gods laws( Romans 14:12). People who claim to be a true christian but then do not follow Gods principles obviously cannot be judged righteous. James 2:24,26 says: "you see that a man is to be declared righteous by works, and not by faith alone... Indeed, as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead."
Jehovah's Witnesses strive to follow Gods laws to the best of their abilities. One that does not follow Jehovah God's Laws cannot rightfully be a Jehovah's Witness.
Serena Williams was never baptised as an official member of the Jehovah's Witnesses church and is not presently a practising Jehovah's Witness.
