I have been told it is impossible to pinpoint the age of this company's firearms as they did not SN their weapons. I am trying to get a verified age on a W&A shotgun my grandfather had when I was a boy back in the early 50's.

I paid $149. in Dec of '08 for one in good cond. They are not classy guns and their value is what you're willing to pay. The 30-30 version is trouble I'm told. They look so similar you need to check the markings to be sure. They're heavier than they look.

Refers to shotgun bore size. Specifically, it refers to the number of lead balls of that bore size that it takes to make one pound. A twenty gauge takes 20 balls to the pound where a 12 gauge takes 12 balls.
