He is was put on injured reserve on January 6, 2011 and has not played in any game or participated in Penguins practices since. On March 30, 2011, he was cleared to return for no-contact practice, but the timetable for his full return is still unclear.

He's missed nine games because of his concussion :( He's now been allowed to do light work-outs so he should he back soon. He will miss ten when he doesn't play the Penguins and Rangers game on Tuesday Feb. 1st.
