What is a 900 in skateboarding?
is this question a joke?
what the hell: It's 900 degrees of rotation. If you're not an idiot, you would know that it is two and a half revolutions.
yup! there great! there are made by the nhs fun factory which also makes flip decks, indys etc. bullet skateboards are made from 100% pro maple wood deck which makes it have long lasting durability and pop!...THAT MEANS IT IS A PRO QUALITY DECK!. many other skateboard companys use the same standard deck AND THERE PROS!
I have skated with this deck for 3 months now and it feels awesome .and i heard there gonna make a skate team later on ........maybe, i dont know for sure.
Whos the best skateboarder in the world?
It depends on if you are talking about "best". There are two possible ways to measure how good a skateboarder is: by contest wins or how innovative they are or do really crazy (scary) tricks like huge gaps, stairs, rails, jumps like Danny Way, etc.
Also, you have to ask, "Are we talking about street, vert, or both?" For vert contests, I think the consensus would be Tony Hawk. He won almost every contest he entered in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. A lot of that had to do with him being the only guy to do 720s for years and years (and the first to do it). To see other tricks he invented watch "Ban This", because he worked a lot of those into his runs as well (540 ollies, or no-handed McTwists, varial McTwists, etc.). Christian Hosoi was the 2nd best in terms of contests I'd guess, because he would go so big on everything he did and had tons of style. Not as technical, but still rad and winning contests a lot.
Nowadays, since Tony doesn't enter contests much (if at all) the most innovative guys would probably be Bob Burnquist and Danny Way. Buckey Lasek would be a close third. And Paulo Diaz from Brazil would be another guy like the Hosoi of today going big everytime, but also fairly technical. Danny Way brought us the super ramp (see the D.C. video) and Bob Burnquist usually rips on best trick contests. Bob brought us the full pipe, or if it wasn't him it was probably Hawk.
As for street, there are fewer contests and more guys ripping it up. Don't forget the girls too. Elissa Steamer on Toy Machine was the first breakout, sick chick skater I ever saw (see Toy Machine video Welcome to Hell I believe).
For guys, Ryan Sheckler is the "it" boy because he's consistent and super dialed in and "marketable" so the media loves him. Before his growth spurt he was pulling huge, sick tricks in a pint-sized package. Now he's average sized and still able to rip.
For technical, non-contest dudes see Rodney Mullen and Daewon Song. They are the most technical street skaters around in my opinion. For mini-ramp, check out the video Cheese and Crackers with Daewon and Chris Haslam because they reinvent it.
I skate mini-ramps better than street, and have pulled some tricks like frontside ollie noseblunt slides to nollie 180s back in, Caballerial no-handed nosepicks, and fakie 270 shove-its to frontside 5-0s to fakie, and let me say that none of those touch the tricks on this video. Sick!
Bastien Salabanzi is also sick over in Europe. Really, there are too many dudes to name on a site like this, because for every name I think of, there are 50 more that pop in my head of rippers who deserve props. That's the problem with a 'Who's the best question.' It's not a questions that jives with the skateboarding mentality. I know since I've skated since 1984 and I'm 33 now. The best things about skaters are that they question everything, they create and innovate, they're persistent when it comes to tricks that are scary or difficult to land, and there's a brotherhood among fellow skaters where you applaud the easy trick it if was tough for the skater who did it.
Are riser pads and shockpads the same thing?
no. riser pads are hard plastic that are mainly designed to give you more pop. shock pads also give some pop, but not much. the big difference is that shock pads greatly reduce the amount of pressure cracks you'll see in the deck. if you need to make a deck last for awhile, shock pads are the way to go.
jaydison lee cathers you can find him on facebook if u like add me on facebook
Are there any skate parks in Delaware?
yes indoor skate parks are all around Maryland but hard to find
It's easier to kick flip just on flat because it will not hurt as much if you had fallen off down stairs. To kick flip off stairs you'll have to have a lot of speed to actually clear the steps clean and you will have to suppress your legs to absorb the impact so just stick to kick flips on the ground for now.
Tech Decks were introduced in 1998 by Steven Asher. California

What are the aerodynamics of a skateboard?
The aerodynamics of a skateboard is the air that flow under and over the board. Example: when doing an ollie the pop at the tail of the board + the air pushing under it + the force from the front foot going up makes the board go airbourne into the ollie. The higher you bring your knees up, the farther up the board goes.

Where can you get a skateboard?
I think the most important thing is to define what you mean by skateboard coach. Do you mean someone to help a young skater with the actual act of Skateboarding, or more of the how-to-get-started-in-skateboarding-for-a-career type of coach?
Both will be somewhat hard to find in any legitimate sense, simply because part of the allure of skateboarding is that, simply put, there are no coaches.
How high should a normal ollie be?
When starting skateboarding it is an acheivement to be able to perform an ollie but when you have been skating for ages you can expect to get higher because of the added practice, there is no such thing as a normal ollie is all to do with practice and level of skill.
Hope i helped
Matt
Which way do you attach the trucks to a skateboard?
But some bolts if you havnt already and just put them through the eight holes in the skateboard face down, (do each truck individually) then put the trucks on >>>>>>MAKE SURE THE BUSHINGS ARE ON THE INSIDE!!!!!!!<<< If not when you try to go left your board will go right, vice versa. Then finnaly put the bolts onto the srews so the trucks are sanwitched between the bolts and the deck and your done. But make sur the bushings ae on the inside!!!!!!
In skateboarding what is a jump into the air by stamping on tail of board called?
Step One
Stand on the board with your rear foot placed on the tail and your front foot between the middle of your board and the front bolts.
Step 2Place the ball of your rear foot in the middle of the board so that when you push the tail down, the ball of your foot feels the pressure.
Step 3Place your front foot nearly straight across the board.
Step 4Practice pushing down as fast as you can with your back foot and putting all your weight on the tail. This is the initial motion of the trick.
Step 5Notice that the harder you push, the more your board wants to keep going up once the tail is on the ground. You will use that motion in the next step.
Step 6Strike the tail on the ground and jump off with your rear foot as you slide your front foot up the board (so your knee moves toward your chest).
Step 7Drag the side of your foot up the board as you are jumping. This will cause the board to come up with your jump. Once both feet are in the air, the board will seem to stick to them.
Step 8Come back down
The length of a skatboard varies. Lengths range from "trick" shorties a foot or so long to the "standard" boards with inch lengths in the 30s. Longboards are longer still, and they can even be as long as 8 feet.

Longboard skateboarding is form of surfing and snowboarding combined. With the fast flow and rhythm of surfing and the hard griding surface of pavement and carving turns of snowboarding. To ride one, you must combine these two with you confidence to succeed. Once all three are combined, put both feet facing perpendicular to the longboard... maybe angled a little foreward for comfort. Face down the hill and begin the roll. Now, moving at a rapidly accelerating speed, start leaning to one side putting emphasis on the front foot, either the toes or the heel depending on the side you are turning to. then coming to one side of the street switch the weight to the heel or toe,(the side opposite of the one you were on) use this technique to carve the whole width of the street. If you start gaining too much speed deepen your turns and make them sharper by putting more weight to the side ure turning.
Can other bushings be used on grind king trucks?
Not really, the don't fit flush and get ground off quite quick so your truck kinda collapses if you go in hard or at an angle...
What causes most skateboarding or inline skating falls?
your feet might not be in the right position or you can loose balance. the one i hate the most is tripping on pebbles.
Will powersliding damage your skateboard trucks?
That depends on wheel hardness and strength. The only thing that can happen if you powerslide is your wheels can wear away in one spot making part of the wheel flat. If this happens, you wheels are ruined. Other than that powersliding cant really damage the rest of your skateboard.
How do you stop your skateboard bearings from squeaking?
Check if you've really gotten the right kind.
Check the wheel and the axle for any burrs that the bearing might be catching on.
