Not as popular as it once was. The audience in UK for the epic Davis/Taylor World final in 1985 was huge. But the game is now immense in China, with really talented young players coming to the fore.... hard to believe now but Tvs were once monochrome and Ted Lowe commentating on a match said 'for those of you watcing in black & white the green is just behind the blue.....' (You could not tell the difference !)
