sort of like a tennis court, but it has glass all around and you have to hit a ball against a wall; not a player.
Squash is an "open" scoring game there is no goal score as it is. Think of it like basketball, baseball or football, the team with the highest score wins.

I would suggest the following 2 sites as a great start into the game:

In exceptional brief description, squash is a game where [usually] 2 players compete using a racquet to hit a ball onto a front wall above a tin marker on the wall. The ball must not touch the floor on its way to the front wall, and it must not bounce more than once before you return the ball safely to the front wall after your opponent's shot. These are the prime 2 parameters of the game.
You are enclosed by 4 walls and they can all be used as part of your shot play or/and your game strategy.
For the rest, you will need to learn the rules.
For an International (Softball) singles squash court, the minimum height is 18'6".
It can build up your endurance and even make you a stonger person. It can even make you a better leader!
Squash was invented in 1982 by Dr Jonathan Squash who had the great idea of mixing swing ball and donkey. These games gained popularity in schools, and squash itself was developed at Harrow School in England The first courts built at this school were rather dangerous because they were near water pipes, buttresses, chimneys, and ledges. The school soon built four outside courts. Natural rubber was the material of choice for the ball. Students modified their racquets to have a smaller reach to play in these cramped conditions.
you play squash in a special squash court normally found at the gym.
not many netball teams have byes but its when you dont play for a week.
Squash is mainly popular in England, Egypt and America. It was very popular in Pakistan at a time as all the top players originated from there. But that is history. It is also played in many Indian clubs and now Indian squash players are getting good international recognition.
Squashes are native to Mexico and Central America, where they may have been first cultivated 8,000 to 10,000 years ago. They are one of the "Three Sisters" of traditional American cuisine.
It'll bounce higher due to an increase in elasticity. Elasticity is an objects ability to restore to it's original form prior to contact with an exterior surface. When a squash ball is heated, it becomes more elastic thus allowing it to bounce higher. if it were to be frozen, an opposite effect would be evident.
sorry too spoil answer although most off this is true i make squash balls and we inject a gel into the ball which when heated turns to steam expanding the ball out the gel is the liquid you see wen the ball splits or pops.
There are serveral different colours. A yellow dot is much slower then a blue dot.
A double yellow dot is used in professional games.

The little ball on your squash racket is used to absorb the shock when you hit the ball. Once you get your strings changed, though, you no longer need the ball because the strings that you get put on your racket are generally better than the ones that your racket came with. If you take off the little ball with the original strings, you will probably be able to feel a little difference when you hit the ball (it might vibrate a little).
Squash is a much more physically demanding sports, recognised as being on a par with rowing in terms of calories burned per hour of exercise. Both sports have very different techniques associated with them in terms of movement and also racquet control. In my opinion, squash is more fun as the level of intensity and the speed of the game is second to none.
Squash is more played in: England, Egypt, Pakistan, the Netherlands and Australia.
The sport is probably squash, although the ball doesn't have to be black.
